12 Tips to INSTANTLY Improve at Fall Guys - Tips and Tricks

- Today we will cover some advanced strategies for winning in Fall Guys so you can start racking up your Crowns and spend more time taunting the slow pokes behind you with saucy emotes. This video assumes you know all the basics of the game and its modes, which I cover quickly in this Beginner's Guide linked on screen and linked below:

00:00 - You may pause this and watch that video first to get caught up.
00:25 - #1: Jumping on downward slopes gives you a boost in momentum. Be careful not to hit anyone while doing this or you will lose ground. This works great on modes like Gate Crash in the last half where you run down slopes. At the start of Whirlygig. Or the 2nd half of Door Dash, just to name a few.
00:43 - #2: Dive before landing to avoid falling down. Just before you hit the ground you can dive if you think you are about to lose your balance and fall down. It's an excellent move on far drops like at the end of Door Dash or when landing on steep slopes like in See Saw.
01:05 - #3: You are in a vulnerable state when you jump. If at any time during your jump you collide with anyone it will cause you to fall down. A common mistake I see players making is they start a jump when they are currently against someone, causing them to fall immediately. This happens a lot on modes like Door Dash where you are crowded together and asked to jump. So take care to jump when you have some breathing room and it will save you time.
01:37 - #4: When playing Whirlygig, you can use the rotating bars to launch yourself forward. It will take some practice to get the right angles, but when done correctly it's a nice boost. Also, there is a jump skip towards the end of the level by going either left or right here, then jumping to the middle platform.
02:01 - #5: On See Saw you can jump to the rails along the walkways to avoid being grabbed or knocked down.
02:18 - #6: In Roll Out, you can use the walls on oncoming rollers as a safety net to make aggressive plays.
02:37 - #7: Fruit Chute is one of the modes that players struggle with at first. A safe and simple strategy to clear Fruit Chute is to huddle inside the far side pockets. You can dive in front of the ledges to keep yourself from going backwards. If you do it right you can even get further ahead by doing this.
03:03 - #8: In both Hoarders and Fall Ball I see a lot of players that like to throw themselves into the moving ball as soon as they arrive. But to do this effectively all the time takes practice in knowing how to manipulate the ball to do what you want. It can be effective to let the ball tell you when to hit it. By this I mean engage with the ball when it is on a free course without any interception. It takes time to recover after hitting the ball, so you can let your opponent hit it and then chase it to a better collision spot. Patience goes a long way.
04:14 - #9: In the Beginner's Guide, I recommend not waiting at the start of Tip Toe and jumping out to find the correct path quickly. But metas shift as they are solidified. So if the lobby you are in are using this strategy, you can do the opposite. Wait for the correct path to be found and unlocked to the 2nd or 3rd row. Then simply jump forward towards the front of the line. Bim Bam Boom.
04:44 - #10: In Fall Ball, you will currently spawn in the middle of the map if you fall into either goal. Use this after a score to teleport to the center and contest the newest fall ball to fall into the arena.
05:01 - #11: When you're trying to sabotage an enemy team's ball in Rock n Roll, avoid letting the ball get on top of you. Oftentimes once you get under the ball it can gain forward momentum again. It's more effective to simply touch and go to corrale it like a sheep than to try and brute force it with your forehead.
05:23 - #12: As it stands now in Perfect Match, every fruit you encounter starts with a different letter. For some people, remembering them by their starting letter helps them keep track of what is on each tile.

These are some fantastic tips!!! Here are some that I've seen help as I've played
-Stay calm
-On whirly gig if you stick left during the final middle propeller you are more likely to get through
-Fall mountain is easier if you stick middle right and once you make it to the hammers go as much right as possible
-In Hex-A-Gone try to jump from hexagon to hexagon instead of running this will help you stay on each level longer
-At the beginning of dizzy heights if you know you can't balance on the beams jump into the slime avoiding the yellow bumpers and you might be faster than those who stayed on top.
-During royal fumble it's hard to catch a player that can use the spinners well
Actually, you are a bit faster on the left side of fall mountain
@@sanelino3069 why is the left faster? I think it's mostly a toss-up with maybe the slightest edge to the right side.
We don’t know why the left is faster it’s just slower on the right side. It’s probably the way the game was coded into losing speed.
In royal fumble instead of chasing try to ambush the guy with the tail and when you spawn with a tail try and hide.
@@the1sttaco822 As long as one person continues chasing the tail into the ambush. I've played round where we all moved ahead to ambush and the tail just turned around and went the other way.
at the end of the preview on door dash, where it shows you the back of the last three doors and the drop, one of the doors is slightly shorter, that is the real door.
Not only that, but on the last 3 sets of doors you can look at the teeth, the real door(s) will have the pink line behind the teeth missing, also the real doors have the lowest pink spike in at the bottom of the door

I guess i'm happy to know that I learned all of these from just playing the game. I've been able to get consistent final round placements but never won a game. I even have qualified enough to where if i won i would've had the Infallable achievement done easy. I've made final round more than 30 times but have yet to win once.

Straight to the point without annoying intros. The type of video that rarely gets made on RUclips. Liked and subscribed.
There was this bastard who was standing on top of the cilinder platform in Slime Climb to stop all other players from proceeding. Then I gave a dive jump to land past him and keep going. Ended way first and even made a few taunts before crossing the line. This also earned me an achievement.
Thank You, had no idea about gaining speed while jumping down slopes.

Finals is still luck mixed with skill. I've already won about 15 times..I've only played the game about 4 days or so. Just play, it's not a difficult game.

Stay calm when doing Final showdown
On whirlygig if you go to the center of the last part, staying left and timing a dive will make you always go under the fast fan
For the tail tag games, I find it better to cut the tailed player's route off than chasing them from the back, especially on royal fumble

one little thing I would like to mention about perfect match is that while memorizing is by far the best way to win, it also helps to watch the other players. If a bunch of people are all moving to the same tiles at once, follow them, chances are most of those people did memorize the tiles and having such a large number of players all be wrong about the same spot at once is statistically impossible. Go with the crowds and you'll be fine.

@@flappy1602 yesterday I got Perfect Match on the 2nd round with 40 people. 30 of them followed the crowd to their demise. It didn't get me a crown but it was a highlight for sure.

this is so helpful, got me to my first ever final
2:37 In Fruit Shade, if you spawn in the first row all you have to do is go to the nearest edge and use the other players as cover/pushers. When they move forward, they make you move faster. I use this every time and I always get first place.
I am doing OK so far, probably will get 20th episode win today, but I learnt trick or two from this video, thanks.

Question here , why some people can push you so far and when i try to push people nothing happend?
The biggest push usually comes from how you let go of them. You'll sometimes get an impulse force if you let go of them suddenly while turning.
It should be noted that you should NOT dive in a big fall on hex-a-gon. They are already made so you don't trip when falling. If you dive after falling, you'll lose time and maybe even fall further. Only dive to get to distant tiles

they should make a version of hoarders that is the opposite. So instead of getting the most balls to win you have to try to have the least amount
Pro tip! :In Fruit Shoot use the triangle then jump when you're gonna hit it, then it will give you a bounce boosting you forward (PS: it's the right corner and it must be the center triangle ones)
I've been diving to increase stability when I land but didn't think it mattered when you dive. Do you get better results specifically diving right before you land?
It appears as if the stability you have is when you are in the dive animation which can end. So if you dive early and start to stand up you won't have the stability from it. You also recover faster if you land in the early stages of the dive.

I consistently make it to the finals. I just can't win because it will only give me fall mountain which is just nothing but luck on whether you'll get through flawlessly or get bodied by the balls.

Is it just me or do blocks that about to disappear in "Short and sweet" start to blink red at the last moment?
When playing the memory minigame, I just wait until the screen show the fruit and then I go to the place most people are going, the right one.

Fun fact: if you jump into some one and dive immediately you won’t fall unless you are on top of him. I once pushed a guy on the floor with this but it doesn’t always work.
