Some essay analysts recommend that students should read the questions before the essay. This strategy,it is argued, students can read the essay with an eye for the questions. This analyst seems to read the article first. What Khan Academy's recommended strategy to comprehension essay - read essay or questions first?

I don't know about Khan Academy, but I was told by Kaplan not to read questions before the answers. I completely agree with this, because it can change the way you look at the passage, so no I would never recommend you do that, but if it worked for you then that is fine.

For question 2, I don't understand how this is THE CENTRAL assumption of the passage?? What makes it central/main?

first paragraph last sentence. Advertisers try to get you to choose one product over the other without reviewing either product. If you review both items then you will decrease the likelihood of wanting to buy either product. The passage focuses on manipulations and deceit advertisers use and why they get away with it like explained in paragraph 4 where it says "voters have little little motivation to be concerned about the accuracy of the political claims being made".
