Nicely done, I've really been enjoying this series and can't wait for more. I'm wondering if you're going to be covering Lepidoptery in the next one. Also- do you ever use Norns doing audio mangling in conjunction with the Cocoquantus?
Thank you! I might touch upon Lepidoptery in the future. It’s not really a script I took a proper dive in. I also use Norns with Coco as well as CL and Monome world blends rather nicely:)
Pretty easy, you get to the main menu and turn encoder 1 to the right and you’ll see params. Enter that and just move downwards and it should be there…if you mean just the rate, level pan thing in the main window of barcode you just move encoder 2 :)
Sure… any midi compatible usb device can be used with norns. There is a cool device called 16n faderbank compatible with midi usb, CV, and i2c… 16 faders for any expression you may need
Yes! Loads of MIDI devices can be used with norns. I would also suggest looking into grid. Doesn’t need to be monome, but a lot of scripts have grid integration that really opens up the script usability. Otis has some cool grid integration as well :)
Watched three vids of you now, great and awesome! Subscribed
I love those ambient talkies! They are very soothing and relaxing, but also very informative. Keep 'em coming
Thank you so much for your nice feedback! :)
Lovely channel man. Absolutely loving it
I’ve been loving Otis and its grid support. It’s so much more fun with a grid.
its far more immediate yes :)
this is absolutely amazing, thank you so much! ❤️
Thanks for checking it out! :)
Do you just use the built in reverb on Norns? If so, can you share your settings, they are _perfect_
I use a bit of reverb from Norns and add a bit from Valhala Supermassive :)
Do you remember the OP-1 preset you used in this video?
Hmm I think it was one of my samples :)
Good stuff! I use all of these on Norns but learned a few things here.
Awesome to hear that they are also useful for experienced users :)
Excellent tutorial as always mate. Super useful!
Thank you so much, buddy! Glad you find them useful :)
Love your ambient talkies =)
thank you and I'm glad you're enjoying them!
Great videos! Would be willing to share where did you get these sounds on the op-1?
hey, really depends! some are from the unperson patreon page, some are just self made from me :)
really enjoying your content great work
thank you for checking it out!

Hey Andy, how do I access the menu parameters such as slew etc when using barcode on the shield?
Pretty easy, you get to the main menu and turn encoder 1 to the right and you’ll see params. Enter that and just move downwards and it should be there…if you mean just the rate, level pan thing in the main window of barcode you just move encoder 2 :)
Can you use some external modulation with Otis script? Maybe with some cv to midi converter?
Sure… any midi compatible usb device can be used with norns. There is a cool device called 16n faderbank compatible with midi usb, CV, and i2c… 16 faders for any expression you may need

moment of truth, guys. which of the featured scripts do you find most enjoyable?
Corgi
Compass, otis is a really close second tho
Since I also own the CocoQuantos, I must say that Otis does a really great job!
@@AdiGoldsteinComposer yeah, surely does!
Where is that reverb coming from?
heya it's a mixture of Norns's reverb and a bit of shimmer verb that was done in Logic - specifically Valhalla Supermassive
Hey all these patches seemed to have reverb is it possible to turn that off?
there's a bit of reverb from Norns and from Valhalla which I'm using for the videos, all can be turned off completely
