Hey Andy… do you know of a video that explains how to use Norns with concrete minus a grid or controller?

I think this process is awesome! But for me however: Both bats and birds are too squeaky, screechy and is more or less unpleasant sound to hear in a mix. However I love sound of water, rain, rivers and stuff like that. So Cool u exploring so much! 💜

Very cool, curious whether when you reverse the ambient granular sound, the grains are reversed or if it’s just the playback that’s reversed

somehow I can’t get orca on my norns fates. I always get an error. I see the docs page at first and then if I push the button to load it; I get an error message.

Seeing this machine made me want to build one myself. The PCB is currently being manufactured at JLCPCB, and the components will arrive in a few days. I have a PI 3B in stock, and I hope to be able to assemble all the SMD parts of the 28/10/2021 version with the CS4271K-CZZ codec. Fingers crossed that I can create this gem... Thank you for sharing this project, which only gives one desire: to have one... ;)

Nice episode!😊 Too bad my field recorder can't record any higher frequencies than 48kHz at maximum sampling rate (Tascam DR-44WL). I should be able to get some noises though.

So the ultrasonic mics set to 192 khtz is that the frequency for bats? Do you have to speed the audio up post to reveal the correct pitches? (You know what I mean) I’ve got 1 sonorous objects ultrasonic mic… would that work on its own?

thank you for all these great videos. i own thje morphagene. so if you start the script there is load or record above. i am not able to record life like morphagene does. the recording parameters are on input only, and i can hear myself but i can't record. do you have an idea why not? looking forward to get some tips. thx in advance

have you tried this with mlre? wonder if it'd work with scripts that utilize the grid.

Nasa has some pretty cool sonifications that you can use as samples 👽 also, Ryoji Ikeda and Max Coooper have some great sonifications and visualizations of data in their art

Hi mate! I'm new to Norns, saw your other video as well as the convo with Jonathan and lllllll, but can't seem to find how the Tinta sequencer works. Is there a post or somewhere that you could point me towards?

I know it's horribly British but sometimes in the UK Ralph is pronounced "rafe" like saying "race" with a lisp. Don't ask me why! But in RVW's case I believe he preferred this pronunciation. Yeah we have a daft language 😅
