I make a menu of (what I have in the pantry) and choose the day before or later what I feel like cooking. Sometimes you just don't feel like what is on the menu for the day. You have an awesome pantry.!!! I always have cake mix on hand in a variety of flavors but you have gave me so many alterations for the mix.. So frugal and fast. You do such a good job!!!
Hi Noel, I suggest you pick 7 dinners and a bunch of ideas for breakfasts and lunches and then make whatever fits, fit on whatever day. That way, you're always successful. God bless my friend 🙏🏼❤️

I so agree on the menu plan being just a guide...I've even completely switched to a meal I had in the freezer or pantry, breakfast like eggs and toast or a simpler version of a meal utilizing some part of my plan. You have to do what you can do based on curve balls life throws you. I'm excited to hear about the potential school. Don't feel guilty! I'm sure if it's the right fit Luke will love it and you will both benefit. Love all the desserts! Yummy!
Noel, when I plan my meals I don't designate a certain day. I just list what we are eating for the week and pick what we are having that day from our meal list.

I don't meal plan because if I do, life throws a ton of curveballs. I try to plan the day before. Having a variety of frozen meat allows me to pick & choose a recipe based on time available & what veg & sides we have on hand. Yesterday I was going to do frozen fish, but I found ground beef on clearance so I made meatballs instead. Monday I finally made a roast beef that kept getting pushed for weeks due to life happening. Next week I need to do a pork tenderloin & that's the extent of plans. Don't beat yourself up if you eat sandwiches instead of a meal for supper because life happened. You have a lot on your shoulders & as long as everyone is fed, who cares if you juggled meals around.
I do that to I make my plan but I switch out maybe Monday for Thursday.. like we bbqd tonight the meal I was making tomorrow night just switching days that’s all.. your right life happens..
I agree meal plans are very helpful, and saves me Monday. I switch menu days all the time. If I have extra leftovers can we eat that, and what we don't eat for the week meal plan I bump it to the following week. 🙏❤️

I felt guilty at first too when I put Lily into school, I know it's hard not to feel that way but it will get him the help he needs like you said and it will give you a bit of a break which is well deserved, you do so much for Luke and for all of your family. Your backyard is beautiful! I have one of those trees with white blooms too. I believe they are called Bradford pear trees and they are so pretty but don't smell great. Love watching as always! Agree with your explanation of meal "plans". Life is a living being. Changing and morphing as we go through our days. Especially with families! And meal planning totally helps with budgeting and grocery planning.
As long as my kids eat food everyday I feel like I'm winning 😂 I do a weekly meal plan but I might switch it up some days and use some ingredients I bought for one meal for something else but all our groceries get eaten. I mostly meal plan to know what to buy at the store and not overspend or eat out. Life happens!! I completely understand!! 🙌

Only issue is now when he see them in frezzer he was pizza everyday which is a no no lol!! I also heard from other moms that when they made homade and got the child invloved they where more likely to try it cause the fact they can make it give them pride and fun at the same time!!
When you send Luke to school ask about the security guard watching over his from trying not to leave on his own my son had a desk security guard and he managed to get out to the Street in kindergarten.Worst they never called me when it happened Loved today's Pineapple hints. Its wonderful to see Luke so happy 🤩😍😊😄😅😀🤗👶👦👼

The school is just for autistic children up to the age of 22 and it makes me feel more comfortable that he would only go for 3 hours and get therapy and some time with other children I don't think that I could do all day though

I know it is easy to say not to feel guilty for needing a break from our kids from time to time but of course we always do. It will be great for Luke, although I am sure it will be an adjustment for him to be around new people. I know you have a busy life but it Is a good time to get a much needed nap. :)

My nephew has aspergers and his chosen food is Mc Donald’s chicken nuggets if we were too cook 20 nuggets at home he may only eat 5 because of how they look or feel. So I get it !! Just asking because I’m new and don’t really know Luke lol. Anyway loving the channel. 😘

You may have answered this in other videos but I'm new to your Channel are you thinking about putting Luke into ABA therapy? I watch a few other channels that also have autistic children that are in the ABA therapy and it really seems to help a lot. I grew up with a brother on the Spectrum but he was very high functioning and then they didn't have the programs they have now.

I get irritated on your behalf when I watch you explain why you are swapping meals around during the week. I have a 31 year old son with ASD..... I have been in similar situations.
