Emily your both smarter and far pleasing to the eye than Tom. I did tell him in his video he had forgot to send you for the elbow grease!! Great to see you working together to keep your business growing.
Only recently started following Tom, seen a few of his videos through other channels, absolutely loving it, and now followed you 👍 you pair have an amazing partnership, rock on 🤘 ❤
On tablet and can't edit initial post. You ma'am seem like a wonderful down to earth lady and Tom is oh so fortunate you let him catch you. Emily, you are a bloody gem and I am very envious of him even though I have slightly more hair than he does. 😁 I wish you both the very best for the rest of your lives together. 👍👍
It's good to see you are keeping Tom on track. You seem to be getting more comfortable with hook ups of equipment, takes practice. Might be interesting seeing you teach Tom some of your chores, pack ups, Sunday roast or maybe quiche. Great video as always.
I think you are on to something here Gary! Maybe I should buy him a Tom lamb now we are baking apron 😂😂😂😂 thanks as always for your comments appreciate you 🤩🤩🤩🐑

I thought you had peaked at your pack ups, but your hot chocolate game is amazing 😄 I work in a stores and you wouldn't believe the amount of times the apprentices have fallen for the daft requests they get given. I really lie the JCB too, I drive a much smaller one at work and its very handy. Great video as usual, thank you for the insight into your day, always great to see 🙂
Thanks so much for watching Chris! That’s another vote for the JCB lol they are fab aren’t they! I must say I’m rather proud of my hot chocolates just missing the squirty cream! 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Hi Emily, I did my first shift yesterday Sat the ninth and have now decided to sign on as a volunteer proper. The Mid Hants Railway AKA The Watercress Line. thanks for posting, have a great day....
Ahh that’s amazing 🤩 glad you have commented I was trying to find you as I thought you commented on the last one and couldn’t seam to find you to reply! Sorry about that! Hope you’re getting on really well! Thanks so much for watching best wishes 🤩🤩🤩🐑🐑🐑🤩🤩🤩
It's nice when the boss thinks he's being funny and sends you off for a nice break! Like you, I knew what the long weight was about so I took a book. When someone found me, I was called all sorts of unkind names and told to get back to work. Having clean windows and mirrors is definitely a top priority. You do a nice job on the interior -- from someone who used to detail cars for a living 👍. One tip for the floor: buy a set of car wash heavy duty floor mat clips, and secure them somewhere in the wash bay. Then you can just pull the floor mat out and hit it with the pressure washer. VOILA! Nice and clean. For cleaning the wash bay we just blast everything down the drain and let the filtration system deal with it. Probably means we have to clean out the filters a bit more, but that's just a matter of turning a few valves and emptying the waste drums. Can't comment on JCBs/telehandlers on the farm because we don't have one. Favourite machine is probably our little tow donkey. Weird, one off (we think) custom machine for moving trailers. It's only the size of a small forklift (say 2.7 metres long by 1.3 metres wide), weighs about 4 tonnes, 4WD, 4WS, and all it is designed to do is tow stuff around. But with it, you can manoeuvre a 25 foot plant trailer 360 degrees around a 1 foot diameter tree -- without the trailer touching the tree, but the trailer also never being more than 6 inches from said tree. Takes a fair bit of practice to get used to the controls and learn how to make best use of all the options you have, but once it clicks it's gold. More practice is all it will take before you can back a trailer and hitch up as well as Tom or Senior Lamb. I guarantee neither of them came out of the womb knowing how to do any of this! Unfortunately there's not enough space on the hose holder for you to enlarge one of the other holes so that each lead can sit separately.
Haha we are both on the same wave! Got them good and proper lol sounds like a good idea for the tractor would be so easy to just take it out and jet wash! Very kind of you to say I did a good job! 🤩🤩that sounds like a fabulous bit of kit! Amazing what machines can do and how they make your life easier thanks so much for watching appreciate you 🤩🤩🤩🚜
Tom needs a slap, I wish I could get my wife to show as much enthusiasm. When i am hitching up I find it easier to make sure you are in low range and then use the joystick to reverse slowly and hold it on the brakes rather than trying to inch up in pedal mode or use the clutch.
@@EmilyLamb90 Minimum revs in the lowest possible gear when reversing to connect or backing up a trailer. At least until you're comfortable doing it, then you can speed up as your skill increases.
@ nice mug of universal brown fluid 👍 ha ha we had a sort of tom lamb moment today invloving a trailer and a pile of logs...was close lol shall keep dave away from the roller doors for a while!
Always fun to watch and ace trainer like Tom in action. One thing I would avoid though (and I'll probably get slated for saying it) is that it's much easier to slip and fall coming down the steps of the tractor forward especially if you've been doing field work and there's mud on the steps.
Hu Emily nice to see you cleaning the tractor, and you keeping a check on Tom, yes the JCB is a very handy machine finding the right hole mmm can be difficult lol, great vid
Learning to reverse is never easy, but once it clicks you will be running rings around Tom. Miss my days on the farm and the turn table trailer reversing competitions at Morton Morrell Ag College. Keep the videos coming and looking forward to seeing what you get up to next!!
I hope so I’d love to run rings around Tom lol 😂 wow competition sounds fun!! Will do thanks so much for watching and your kind comments Paul appreciate you 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Just subscribed. Love you guys. But I love you more. Just left a comment on Tom's channel, stroking his ego, but setting him straight. You are the salt of the earth, lady, for putting up with him. But just know that he loves you. The one important principal that gets through to subscribers, is that you are both patient with eachother, and at the end, you will have eachothers back. That is true love. Keep on keeping on.
good cleaning emily got the trailor hooked on in end will soon come to you once youve done it a few times enjoyable watching you and time together at work, you do a mean lunch.😇
Good evening Emily and Tom. Great video. I hope he keeps that tractor cleaner now that you have cleaned it. It's not easy hitching up trailers on a big tractor like that. When I was learning to drive a tractor age 10. The farmer put me on a B275 International. Andcput me in. Grass field after a few hours, we put a trailer on, and I used the whole field reversing until I got it right.
That’s what I need a field for the day! Just need to find the time lol 😂 thank so much for watching and your kind comments! Good evening to you too from us both 🤩🤩🤩🐑
i'm amazed how quickly your pickin all this stuff up, spent years on old tractors despite being very technically competent these modern things bamboozle me!
Well done on getting the low loader trailor on the pickup hich, it is just practice everyone has to learn after a while you will be able to do it first time same with reversing trailors with practice it just coms natural turning the opposite way with the steering wheel then correcting the tralor to get it straight turning the steering wheel the other way to get the trailor in line with the tractor, I was useless at it first time I dud it many years ago now !
@@EmilyLamb90 If you are doing the job everyday it will all come good without you realising it and suddenly you will be able to do things like hook up trainers and reverse them without thinking.
19:48 great content again not very easy backing the trailers behind the tractor when you not use to it. You did very good. I could back the cattle trailer behind the Land Rover better than when I had it on the tractor
Emily, just take the tractor off one day and practice on your own hooking and unhooking various trailers around the place. Don't worry about making mistakes,we all make mistakes.its part of learning.
During harvest we may spend 12-14 hours or longer in the tractor. Keeping clean and windows clear is imperative to safety plus it keeps the mind less stressed. When we are waiting to unload a grain cart into a truck we clean the tractor to stay busy.
That’s a great point it is so much safer and keeps you busy when waiting around and it does feel so much better when it’s clean like you can get on a tackle whatever you need to get done! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Hahaha... I was a bit miffed for him sending you on those "apprentice hazing" things... but so glad to see you got the upper hand! Love it! :D We have some of those here in Norway too, sending people off to get "Two litres of blue vaccuum" or "Five metres of yellow 'overledning'" (overledning doesn't really translate well, but it means current leakage or trickle power perhaps). Proper hazing that is.
