- Pneumatic working transportable bumpercars
Presenting my bumpercars,
completly functions like a real one, all parts are lego, no lepin, exept for the purple rooftop and net ofcourse...
the chromed pneumatic cyllinders and brackets were bought on bricklink...
build in 2 hours top, with an instruction book...

@@lammegoedzak Alleen de middenbouw trailer. Niemand kon mij het gevraagde bedrag betalen. Heeft tijdje te koop gestaan maar hoogste bod was 200€. Alleen al mijn chrome onderdelen was dat bedrag. Dan nog 15kg aan Lego. Heb hem met pijn in het hart afgebroken en de middenbouw met net verkocht. Helaas heeft die persoon het pneumatisch gedeelte afgebroken. Triest einde 😔

it looks so specifically engineered that I think you took some direct inspiration from watching people actually set up a bumper cars at a fair! Very cool
Benjamin Lewis sure I did. Everytime the unfair came I was outside to look at everything. The pneumatic system was not easy to remake even when looking so much to the real one 😂 I only got 1 or 2 mm space between the structure and the wheels to get them under... so it was a close one 😜

How did you make the chrome pneumatic parts, and that white wire coming from the bumper?
Frank Close I bought the chromed parts also on bricklink, you have few stores that does all parts in a chrome layer, I forgot the name of the store but was from poland, if you seach chrome parts or chrome stores in searchingfield you will find a few... and the white wire i forgot the exact name but it's lego, you find it in the lego technic section on bricklink, there 5 pages in the technic section, think before the technic seats... you also have it in black..

niet overdrijven lol, er zijn mooiere mocs , idd inspiratie van bij lannoo gehaald, ik hou van zijn kleuren, men oude autoscooter circa 20 jaar geleden plakte ik kartons erop met zijn lichtjes erop geschilderd, heb nu wel ietsje meer lichtjes dan hem :p groeten uit assenede ;)
ziet er echt spectaculair uit man, ondertussen uw andere kunstwerken/video's gezien, wooow, als beginnend lego klungelaar, veel veel respect en bewondering!!!

Lego must make some fairground sets from the technic line like the mercedes arocs (42043) but just make a breakdance, or bumbercars set :)

Dit moet wel het meest geniale legoconcept ooit zijn dat ik hier al gezien heb. Vond het als kind enorm boeiend om te zien hoe ze die hele autoscooter opbouwde (nu ja, wie niet). En gek op Lego, natuurlijk (wederom, wie niet?) Geen idee waarom ze hier nooit zijn opgekomen maar voor een schappelijke prijs zou dit niet te doen zijn als ik zie wat gij ervan gemaakt hebt.. Zelfs tot met het net waarlangs ze de stroom geleiden zit er in, dat zeil dat ze spannen en het werkt pneumatisch, net als in het echt :-) Werkelijk, waanzinnig dit :-) (doet me trouwens een beetje denken aan een van de zovele autoscooters van de familie Thommis, qua kleuren komt dit in de buurt..)
lammegoedzak thx! idd lego kan dit nooit verkopen want de verkoopprijs zou te hoog zijn... En je moet weten om dit te maken moest ik ook 2 gaten boten en wat tiles en 4 platen doorzagen :) is onmogelijk te maken zonder dit te doen. daarom dat ik zoveel dislikes krijg hier. maar ben blij dat je het cool vind :)
Sorry, maar dat moet ge me even uitleggen, hoezo 2 gaten boren en wat tiles en platen doorzagen?
Btw: hoe groot is die hele autoscooter (afmetingen), opgebouwd, opgebroken op de vrachtwagen, de kassa, overig trucks.. als'k vragen mag?
lammegoedzak afmetingen van de scooter opgebouwd zijn ong 86cm lang 54 breed en 19cm hoog... en de gaten zijn vanachter in die paarse plaat, mijn axles moeten er op die plekken door om het dak omhoog te doen of om mijn wielen eronder te krijgen, die plaat is niet noodzakelijk nodig maar wil over gans de lengte een paarse plaat ;) en heb 16 tiles van 1x4 nops naar 3.5 nops moeten zagen om het dak uitklapbaar te maken... en die 4 platen van 2x12 nops heb ik een hoek moeten afzagen zodat de verlichting vanvoor in een mooie hoek valt
lammegoedzak scrol naar 12.27 en dan zie je die platen, het zijn de onderste van mijn verlichting, die met witte en rode lichtjes, zonder af te zagen kreeg ik ze nooit in een hoek
'k Heb weer geweldig gekeken.. 't Staat er allemaal bij op het einde :-)

Simon Macklam indeed. saw someone on Insta bussy on processing leds on a plate but very expensive... if you calculate more then 3600 lights... also would be harder for transport... would need another long trailer and would not be realistic. Also tons of wires vissible... on my other rides it would damage the structure of strenght bec drilling bigger holes in all technic bricks 😔

360 spin lol yeah I needed to cut 1x4 tiles into 3.5 tiles to fit the roof and I glue 2 pieces on a connector for the tread axles, so if they make those parts they could do it 😂 cheers mate

peter versteegh all stukjes apart gekocht op bricklink. Zitten bijvoorbeeld 160 1x16 tech bricks in dus moeilijk in 1set te vinden..
