    Is this in russia? If it is can private individuals keep them in a collection or does it have to go into russian military reserves as i've read that it has to before.

      Its in Poland, as far as I know guy is restoring it, but in overall, everything found in Poland, belongs to the polish nation/goverment, thats why there is such a big sh*tstorm over Littlefields Panther tank, it was taken out from swamp in Poland, and later on illegaly sold to Germany>USA (Littlefield).

    • @1dayhabit
      @1dayhabit 4 года назад +1

      It's a British Valentine tank. Designed for infantry support. The British sent a lot of weapons to aid the Russians. If you go to the Bovington Tank Museum website you can find a video about it.

      As David writes this was part of the UK built materiel sent to Russia via the Arctic Convoys. It wasn't Lend / Lease as we never charged them for it under a treaty of 1942:
      3,000 Hurricanes aircraft
      4,000 other aircraft
      27 naval vessels
      5,218 tanks including 1,380 of these Valentines
      5,000 anti-tank guns
      4,000 ambulances and trucks
      1,212 Universal Carriers and Loyd Carriers (with another 1,348 from Canada)
      1,721 motorcycles
      £1.15bn worth of aircraft engines
      1,474 radar sets
      4,338 radio sets
      600 naval radar and sonar sets
      And some would have people believe we produced nothing in WWII. The first convoy was dispatched just 3 months after the Germans invaded Russia in 1941 when we were fighting alone with our Commonwealth friends against the Germans.
