Just as a note, Saber intentionally made changes to the unlicensed vehicles in the game, to avoid potential copyright issues, so the vehicles are deliberately different from their real life counterparts. Mods don't have to do that, so of course they have the potential to be more accurate, if the mod is well-made
i hate that in game we get universal addons, mudrunner really did it better with dedicated addons for US and russian trucks it does add a lot to immersion.
I like how Saber changed some vehicles to avoid copyright, but I have mixed feelings about Voron's and Tuz 16. All three Voron trucks looks much the same and don't even resemble Urals. Tuz 16 even don't behave and feel like B-66 from Mudrunner and Spintires. It seems to be two times lighter than it should be
After yukon map dropped, and the game became a chore, amur... can't even get around the map without using mods, especially the deep snow parts. The latest map is somewhat better.
Yes...he's one my favourite vehicle mod creator, His mods are filled with practical feature and they're nostalgic as most of them are same trucks we had in old games like spintires & mudrunner.
Two questions after I've watched this video. 1) Where is Tatra 805 / The Duck mod comparison? 2) Mods are usually overpowered. What do you think of them in terms of offroad capabilities, do they seem OP?
I wish the Antarctic had some of those mods/addons like the modded truck does, or at least the option to remove the habitat module as it is rather useless in the game and that space could be used to put a crane there or a small fuel addon or something.
I play using what "I" would refer to as mod's that cause the game to be more realistic. As a previous now retire over the road truck driver. I use to pull anything that would fit on my "FIFTH WHEEL". And the entire "TRUCKING INDUSTRY" refer's to those trailer's you hook on to using a hitch as "WIGGLE WAGON'S". Which just as they do more often than not in the game. Can tip over on their own, and on occasion tip the truck pulling them. Thus I find basically the same trailer's one can use via a hitch, but a modded version that fit's on a fifth wheel. I play using only a "YAR" and only two truck's. Both of which are loaded out or configured exactly the same. However one has a low and one has a high fifth wheel. In real life, having the fund's, one can purchase a stock truck, or one can purchase a what gammer's refer to as a modded truck. Meaning various attachment's not included via a stock truck. That make's one life driving a truck, considerably nicer, easier, more enjoyable, etc. etc. etc. I realize that everyone is different and so are their various play styles. Using what "I" refer to realistic mod's. Which other's may or would refer to as cheat's. I've invested since the release of number 9, in which I first came to this game in December of last year; Some 1,200 hour's. The game's as all game's do, have glitches's on occasion, in which the player has "NO" controll over. But then has to deal with the end result's. I can't imagine how or why when a stock truck doesn't offer an automus wince, adding one via a mod is cheating. In real life, who wouldn't purchase an automous if available. There's three basic mode's available and the game it self has made modding avilable. One can play straight up Vanilla, one can play straitgh up "HARD" or one using game plus, can play an easier or harder version of either. With or without the addition of mod's. I find it ironic how various individual's will state they have achieved varioius region's at 100 percent in HARD MODE, but anyone who's played for a few hundred hour's. Can tell their using mod's. And not straight up HARD MODE. Which mean's "NO" mod's. I've tried numeriouss time to play hard mode. And failed everytime. But using any and all available mod's, Hard mode can be made to be easier than vanilla.

The sad part is they already have unique addons for some trucks that might look great on other trucks...yet they used those generic addons like that blue cargo bed, etc for all trucks.

Yep this is the main reason we see differences (in mainly Eurasian trucks too as they are more difficult to lisence)
Unless it’s in console which means they don’t get the “licensed” trucks
I didn't mentioned this because it's obvious but that doesn't change the fact that we have choice of real looking vehicles as mods

yes...they're are do many other trucks which don't have proper weight in this game

It's pretty hard to beat Kot76RSK's mods. They are awesome, and there are a lot of them.

0:54 the zikz is more capable but i agree totally, the mod looks more authentic, and it sounds better also
I cant show all details but the starting sound of Maz mod is awesome...It takes like 3-4 seconds to start the engine.

most of them are kind of like more capable than vanilla trucks but there're some that felt more realistic than game tricks
