Yes, when you get up on the rim there are some spots that are pretty sketchy. you'll understand. you can see it a little in the video but it gets real when you are standing on the rim and can't see the gorge bottom below through the trees. It is a safe trail if you take those spots seriously. It's a great hike!
Just did this hike yesterday. Well worth it!
I hiked that trail many, many times while attending Hocking College. It's the best hiking trail in the whole area, if you ask me.
