He went YEARS without reporting to probation? How is this even a question of revocation?
FACTS
and now he's going to pay by giving up his years of opportunity to be at college
I’d be willing to bet that it was during Covid when nobody at probation was in the office and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with public employees that stayed home and got paid.
I knew a guy who missed a phone call from his probation officer and went to jail for like 2 months. How did they just not try to get a hold of him
@@PickleBread355 yep it's completely at your PO's discretion how strict of lenient they will be with that kind of stuff. But you miss a single check in and it can absolutely count as a jailable probation violation.
Something tells me this guy doesn’t accept accountability
I think you're right😂
Can't quite put my finger on it....definitely something though.
A lack of accountability. All he had to do is to keep in contact with his probation officer and things would have been fine. Despite his positive progress, it seems to have gone to waste.
It must be the face he's making 🥴
100% DemocRat.
This guy looks like Beavis and Butt Head all wrapped into one.
This shows just how many holes there are in the system. Insane that he was able to be on probation and not report for that long.
Its crazy but not surprising. I was on probation for a couple years and the agent I had also had like 60 other people he had to deal with, in an office that had 5 or 6 probation agents with the same or more people they had to keep track of, and the county I live is mostly rural.
It hurts my brain to think of what it would be like to be an parole/probation agent in a big city.
Yeah but the people working hard and finally getting things right then get fucked. That's why America is just a disaster. It was an international joke until it stopped being funny
It is extremely expensive to incarcerate people. We have the largest prison population in the world by far yet we are not the largest population in the world by any means. Keeping people out of jail is in everyone's best interest. However, I would definitely agree that the current system that he went through failed him.
_"God's mill grinds slowly, but finely"_
I think that the system should eliminate parole for many less serious issues so that they can lessen the case load. This asswipe sexually assaulted a child, so he deserves this.
“Would you like a breakout room with your client?”
“Nope.”
😂😂
😂 a big cup of hell nope at that
That was the funniest part. 😂
He's not getting paid to calm down a hysterical homosexual.
@@Tony_Cardoza I have a few friends that would argue he is a _pederast,_ not a homosexual. Pederasts are men who like to have sex with underage boys; whereas a homosexual is a man likes to have sex with men, but that is just being pedantic.

He sent genital photos to a boy aged 13, he also met up with and molested said child. This man obviously has mental issues and needs help but the courts need to put him in jail.

@@BirdDog. yea he is top quality 👌 better than most I've seen.
I hope I never need to hire a defense attorney, but if I do need to hire one I hope I'll be able to find a person who talks as well as Mr. Graff.
I just did a quick google search on the defendant.
If the defendant is the same Jacob Bunt that I found online (and I'm about 85% sure that it is, based on name, approximate age, location and that the district court in the Zoom meeting matches up with the information found online), then it would appear that Jacob got himself into some pretty huge trouble, and was VERY LUCKY to have not faced time behind bars. (It may not have gone well for him behind bars, due to the nature of the charges; again, if this is the same guy.)
Having dodged a major legal bullet, it would have been made abundantly clear to Jacob that he needed to report to probation, in addition to everything else. He didn't do what he was supposed to, so now he needs to face the consequences.
Considering the possible nature of the crimes, I have ZERO sympathy for him.
Yeah. It looks like you found the right guy 🤬 I hope he enjoys the welcome he’ll get in prison

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am dying at at his face when the judge says “Mr. Graff would you like a brief second with your client”
That is probably one of the best criminal defense attorneys that I have seen in these videos.
Jacob Graff from Grand Traverse county Michigan, he’s great for a court appointed attorney
I thought the same thing, wasn’t expecting him to be that good, and man was I wrong!!
@Pat Seagramson the most successful, brightest and greatest criminal defense attorneys started out being just regular court appointed or legal aid appointed attorneys
He was absolutely making chicken salad out of chicken shit in this video, can you imagine what a nice job he could do with a client that was actually reporting to probation and doing the right things?
I love how the Judge, leading up to violating his probation, gives him no indication (via the tone of her voice) that she is going to do so.😂
That's pretty much exactly how I could tell, with my own case, whether the judge I had was going to be lenient or a stickler. The courtroom upon entering, had a relaxed type vibe and his tone was albeit a commanding type, presence wise, but still mild and at times a bit lightheaded/humorous. I got let off with simply an extended probation term for another two years to still work at the current railroad and position I have with them, while raising two, soon to be 3 young ones with my husband. I don't know all the details with this fella and his mental illness, but likely for me, as I informed them and my PD, it was still looked upon as absconding but my reason for leaving Maryland, at one point, was to flee from that of my abusive mother; years prior because of and up to now, I have been long struggling and hospitalized numerous times for PTSD. As long as he would've told his PO and his PD, along with the med records, they probably would've done him the same.
She could tell he was hanging on to saint by a string.
Any time a judge says “So, that being said”. You know something bad is coming.

That guy went from 1 to 100 real fast!! I think he needs more work on his emotional health- he looked pretty scary there!!!
I’m not sure 1-100 I mean he was looking pretty emotional through the process. He looked like he was going to cry many times, and when he started talking over the judge at first that what is it sounded like, then it ramped up. It was quick, yes. He has major emotional control issues that I agree with and he needs some major work to help him be a productive person. I guess I’ve spent too much time watching people and can see the warning signs of an unstable emotional state. The dead stare, slight frown, wavy lower lip, puffy eyes, and maybe a few tears. These are good things to watch out for and things he showed.
We are not treating mental health (especially for men) properly in this country. It's no surprise, not the first time we see that.
Scary, except for the fact that he weighs approximately 98 pounds and has the stability of an infant. Nothing scary about that, unless you're a child...
Not saying that you're a child. Just making a point.

I'm sure judges get tired of hearing about jobs a defendant is starting TOMORROW, college enrollment for NEXT semester, fines and fees going to be paid off NEXT month. Granted these don't necessarily apply to this specific defendant, but he was planning on turning himself in AFTER he gets his diploma.
He had some control over when to surrender, and it would have gone a lot further if he'd already turned himself in so the judge could have truly addressed bond.

Agreed. That poor kid. Zero sympathy from me and I’m disgusted he got away with being free for two years without any checkin.
Yeah, but he got his GED…
I mean, a firing squad is a nice way to deal with this problem; so long as this monster remains in prison *WE* the people are the one's who pay for him; we pay for his food, the ceiling over his head, the luxuries he gets, etc.
Definitely he needs help because this adult man took advantage of a child. Pure and simple. This guy needs to pay for his crime and then all parties move on best as they can.

Did he really think that attaining his GED was going to somehow outweigh absconding from probation for 2 years??!! That was awesome 👏 I will double my efforts with my teenage daughters to make sure they keep their eyes on the prize & never follow this example
Daddy's money ain't gonna get you out of this one time to go to jail buttercup 😅😂
Dude needs serious help lordt… the weirdo messed with a 13 y/o didn’t get time just PROBATION and skipped out on it for 2 years and expected for everyone to Pat his ass? Smh our society is doomed
He's freaking out because he knows he's going to treated real bad in jail. It has nothing to do with his "walk". IMO, he should be in prison.
At least he got a nice speaking judge
Who graduates and walks for a GED? I've always had a joke for people who want praise for doing what they were supposed to...We don't throw graduation parties for a GED
Holy shit!! That kid went from quiet and confident, to completely malfunctioning! Thank goodness she muted him before the childish meltdown!
Probably a good idea to ask whoever’s car that is that he’s sitting in if they would please drive him to his new residence.
This video is genius! Thanks for the laughs, Squishy-Wishy!
*You’re Squishy, and he wishy he wasn’t going back to jail!*
He's done everything he possibly can to get things right except report to probation for 2 years.
Nah man, he had all that coming...
It looked like when people record themselves riding a rollercoaster.
He’s actually lucky he got away with not reporting for that long 💯 Probation usually doesn’t mess around from what I’ve always heard and seen… Still sucks but hopefully he’ll learn from his mistakes 🙏
If he acts like that in jail/prison it's going to be hard for him to get recruited by one of the cool gangs.
"I'm going to be 26 and the oldest person in college". Oh to be 26 again and think that I'm old...
A great example of, " If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!"
Hey Old Sqishy! TY! for never giving us click bait! You are always true to your word! 🥰
Oh my, that went off the rails quickly! He looked like he was suddenly possesed by a demon! LMFAO
Ron Burgundy: that escalated quickly.
He really believed his bs was gonna let him out of jail😅
I saw this somewhere else a couple weeks ago ,I can't remember where. Good to see it again..if I remember there was a follow up from when he was in jail afterwards. He was much more calm and amenable.
I remember when I was young and looked at the prospect that it might take me 8 years to become (fill in the blank)... and by then I'd be OLD and my life would be OVER and so why bother with the 8-year degree.
This dude reminds me of that.... but seriously, 4 years, or 8 years... they'll come to pass no matter what. Why not take the road that gets you to your dreams? Life is a lot longer than 30 years.
Delayed gratification (and the inability to accept it) is responsible for many folks choosing the easy road instead of the road to greatness.
Luckily for me, I had no idea where I'd end up, and I got there. Making almost 6-figures. The only real regret I have is not valuing my earlier education and going for this so much sooner. But I've been in my career nearly 25 years now.
Because his crime is SO against a 13 yr old boy.
Going to prison for 7 years for that isn't the same as putting off college for a few years.
im 57. Can confirm: Life is a lot longer than 30 years. Can also confirm: the good part of life is a lot less than 30 years.
@@Dannie281 I didn't know his crime, I was merely reacting to the content of his statement. Complaining that he'd have to put off college and etc., etc., If he did commit an SO against a 13 yo boy, then I hope he rots in jail.
Thank you
After reading this guy’s disgusting charges I have zero sympathy for his outrageous tantrum here!!
My revocation hearing was simple. Never left jail, never tried probation, I asked the prosecutor to give me 3yrs in prison in exchange for 10yrs of probabtion. No regrets.
@Rayne
That takes balls. It is better to do a short stretch than doing tge whole ten on the installment plan. Especially if you are know you cant put up with some punk PO. They are all mostly women here... And they hate you, lol.
This sicko and other sickos that commit these crimes on children are worst then alot of murders in my eyes. I couldn't and wouldn't even allow my 3boys to be baby sat by anyone through out their entire child hood, because of people like this alive and free in the world. I had such bad ptsd and anxiety that i wouldn't work and stayed broke as hell for my kids. All just to be stay at home mom to protect my babies from any possible harm while they were growing up. Thank god i did. Throw the book at this man.
Second Part of this case now up on Judge Cooney’s channel. 5-30 at about 1:31:32.

Very favorable outcome for the defendant. The Judge took a lot of stock in his age and that he called to clear up the original warrant. No mention of behavior in the hearing beforehand , or the child solicitation case.
