I’ve been homeschooled for about a year, one of the things I loved about it was getting to travel throughout the year, also I like it cause I get to graduate early and go to college , I just took a test to get my diploma and get to graduate 2 years early this summer
I LOVE JAMAICA. I traveled there last month and stayed 6 days. The people there are so kind and real and patient and God like. I wish I could afford to go at least three times a year. You're a wonderful Lady and parent. I love you and as always, so proud of you!!!!!
I love that you and your children can learn anywhere. I desperately want to homeschool but don't feel like I have the skills to do so despite all these books I have. It's easier said than done for me.
I don’t even have any kids but I swear this video as emplanted a new desire in me! If I’m ever blessed to have kids I would love to find a way to homeschool them. I didnt realise how little time you soend with your kids when they go to schools
I want to achieve this so badly with my future kids!! Ive always wanted to teach but instead went into corporate finance. I'm praying in the future im able to take a step away to homeschool my kids and not miss out on that quality time
I have followed you and watched you grow and you are an amazing teacher. You made me a believer in this method of educating our children. Having spent part of my career as a teacher in a public school system there is just no comparison to the benefits the children gain.
I look forward to homeschooling my children this year and many years to come but I get nervous about if I forget something to teach them. If I don't select the right curriculum, If I don't get to do the things I desire with them much like Akeeba is doing and that they may not like it. I also would love for my babies to be into programs and events that encourages socialization and building relationships. senior homeschoolers please lend me you knowledge and encouragement!

Now,I tell parents I know, if they can,they should homeschool. I had home schooling experience too with my kids at their preschool/kindergarten ages.They learnt a lot,we worked at their own pace. They are both in 10th and 8th grades now in chartered schools. But the homeschooling experience goes a long way in their morals and academics. If I have to start all-over again,I will homeschool all through. Now,I am helping other parents to homeschool with my childcare license at my home. Currently, I have early readers at the ages 3 and 4 at my childcare. Homeschooling is amazing.💓
Jamaica is beautiful. I’m glad your kids got to experience seeing a new country. My husband is from Jamaica. I have a question for you. Do you have support around you or are you doing it on your own? I homeschooled my daughter for two years (1st and 2nd grade) and my husband was against it. My parents were against it. I was able to find a homeschool Co-Op where I could get support from other homeschooling parents. How do you deal with naysayers? I decided to put my daughter back into a charter school she is now in 4th grade and every now and again she says she wants to be homeschooled. I miss homeschooling as well. Because I didn’t go to school to become a teacher I felt inadequate and let others tell me what I should do :/

My kids are 13 and 15 years old now...is it too late to homeschool? My son needs extra help with reading and writing and the school he attends just doesn't provide enough resources.
She’s a RUclipsr, she has an online store, she makes a commission from items reviewed for sponsors and I believe she does offer services to help other RUclips channels. I know the title sounds like she quit to ONLY homeschool but she definitely works full time in addition to homeschooling. Would have been helpful to say it in the title though.

A lot of people see a RUclipsr’s channel and think that it’s something they do casually when they have spare time on the weekend. It’s actually a full time grind that comes with a lot of burdens and anxiety. Sometimes more than a 9-5. RUclipsrs just don’t talk about it. Her upper hand with balancing work and homeschooling is that she has classroom experience as a teacher. So I guess that’s how she makes it work.
