Those who say how fast this guy completes the game, you are forgetting that streamers like him are given early copies for feedback purposes but with the condition that they can only release the video on launch day.

If you chose to make a deal with Hakon and finished the game after saving Lawan you get to have Hakon join you in the end which is pretty cool
just got the ending with me walking off with lawan, my aiden get to smash her instead of having bro time with hakon!

Jonah Scotts voice acting in this mission and the VNC assault was amazing. When he radios Lawan for help getting out of the tower and especially when the access key gets destroyed and he realizes the city is fucked made those 2 moments feel like they werent a video game
Honestly it feels a little janky in terms of voice work possibly due to writing… dialogue seems unnatural… I’m starting to notice it more and more in games like this and Halo Infinite’s campaign. Either that or my nostalgia for old games is influencing my interpretation of modern releases. What do you think?
@@MugzieMulligan I think it all has to do with how passionate the VAs are. The games that were going to be big, like Far Cry 3 comes to mind first, have great voice acting. A lot of older games do while theres obviously some that are just not good and produced for money, it does seem like its flipped now, and the new games are just thrown together with not much care. I understand the limits of working with COVID around, but it is a little too drastic, with only a few devs even really trying anymore. Those 2 missions are the only times in all of DL2 where the voices felt sincere, and even then it was only for like 3 cutscenes total. But we have to remember that Techland has never been to strong on voice acting. Im content with what we got, it could use some polish, but its better than a lot of the other choices weve been given recently. It may be nostalgia, but I dont think it is. I think its just a current lack of passion, and motivation only for a paycheck

This boss fight was by far the glitchiest gaming experience of my life. Was absolutely brutal
Experienced no bugs during missions throughout the whole game except on this one: cutscenes playing while I can still walk around, Waltz getting stuck in objects during the final confrontation, etc. Put a big dampener on an otherwise great experience.

I experienced a bug on every mission... Not even kidding. Game is nearly unplayble in co-op.
There was an audio glitch for me during the end fight scene, audio first bugged out then completely died
I love how Aiden *screams* at waltz instead of the usual hero yell like instead of “waltz! stop right there!” He goes; “WAAAALTZ!” Time: 1:57

great game but maybe the worst endings in gaming history... there should have been a choice to side with waltz and save mia.
@@blainehale556 Waltz told X13 is the only option left to save Mia but he didn't say that if it really gonna save Mia or not. Also Mia's health already was that bad, she made it worse by coming to interfere during the fight, leaving her bed and oxygen mask..she was near to death; what can you expect more from her body.
Btw I feel very bad for Aiden, he lost his sis and was ought to leave everyone and move somewhere else because he's threat to everyone.

The ending that I saw was the best one (I think) if u didnt kill Hakon in story mission he join into night runner and help in last mission
after that choose let Lawan detonate and u can see the ending that Hakon saves Lawan and when Aiden leave city Lawan joins with Aiden

The final cutscene was like fallout New Vegas where the survivor is travelling to unknown area
There is another ending that I managed to do. Everyone survived, none died (except Mia). Lawan even left together with Aiden. Even Hakon is alive.

Agree to disagree, I'm gonna say that choices matter. The problem is that the game just gives you the explanation through text, not through gameplay which imho is the main problem with the ending. The game doesn't give the opportunity to see the results of your choices like for example in cyberpunk.

I'm not a fan of these kind of endings in games of this nature. There is supposed to be a palpable reason to do extra content, make certain decisions, or play a certain way that gives meaning to the ending. These kind make it so that nearly everything but a few things really made a difference in the end, but the key difference is the final choice....and in this case either one leaves a sour taste since either way your character and their ultimate purpose for even being in the city was made moot. Mia Dies and your character ultimately leaves because they are screwed due to the inhibitors that are used to unlock the RPG elements of character progression which is killing you. Mass Effect 3 did this by destroying mass relays and killing your character. Cyberpunk 2077 did this by the fact no matter what choice you make your character will die. Farcry does this often where your good or bad ending seems like a bad ending due to a factor out of your control (Farcry 5 for instance where in the good ending you end up being brainwashed as a sleeper agent by a song). Just really takes away from the amount of effort you put in to try and get the best ending you could by slapping you in the face and saying 'Good job, but you still fail cause we scripted it that way.'
Because in this world, no matter how hard you try, you'll be dead and everything you've achieved, you must left it behind
@@sandcrakes I think you missed the point entirely, which is this type of ending is lazy on the developers end. However, if you want me to digest what you said in context then why try, if in the end it doesn't really matter?
True. Idk what's with storywriting these days they have to make like a totally good ending is impossible. Plus all the dead characters along the gameplay they gotta at least make the ending worth their death.

Not ALL endings, there's 2 choices after the fight with Waltz but other choices in-game bring different endings. Depends on who you side with while playing, Frank and the Nightrunners or the PK😅 that's all I'm saying tho....

I played the game completed but I had to come to this video because my audio decides to cut out so I can hear everything else except the dialogue which is fucking awesome
not all endings tho. There is that good ending arc where lawan joins you in that final cutscene of aiden.
Just finished the game too. I liked the story, maybe I shouldn't kill Hakon because I saw him in your ending helping lol, sadly sis dies in both endings anyway.

maxed out throwing knives and molotoves, as well as using the bow and xbow - barely have to melee anything.
Also the throwing knives work well against Waltz

If lawan leaves with Aidan she risks dying that’s why I think they ending where frank dies so she becomes the night runner leader snd Aidan leave alone as he should as a pilgrim is the “true” ending.
Well, Frank was alive in my story yet Lawan became the leader, sadly city was horribly destroyed. Best possible ending is Frank, Lawan, Hakon survive yet casualties are minimized due to radio, Hakon follows you onto your journey
Waltz is one of those characters or villians when they uses stim u know they bout to have another round with you. (In this scene atleast)

Maybe The Night Hunter is actually Aiden, not Crane.
The reason I believe this is if you let her detonate the bombs, Aiden’s transformation had developed so much during his fight with his sisters father and at the end, he walks away from a city when its almost dusk. Spike then says he takes a drug that changes him, meaning he possibly transforms during the night and maintains his humanity and super human abilities with the substance in the vials he took. Or because of the substances he was taking during his fight with his sisters father accelerated his infection entirely and transforms during the night.
In the other ending, despite destroying the city his infection is accelerated equally as in the other ending and since he’s a traveler he traveled-
I just remembered the night hunter is still in a different much older time period because of the different maps, i just wasted both of our times. Walter white, out.

just finished the game, and based on my decisions i made, i made pk's take almost all places and survivors got 3 places. but i spared hakon in all choises and i got the ending with hakon saving lawan and i saved mia, me and lawan walked off into the sunset!

My ending was I let luwan do the bombs , but hankon saved her cus I saved hankon ealier in the game I always knew he had good things planned , so I had both of them in the game. Gave tower to Frank.

I just beat the game. Such an amazing story and game ! If you’re good I’d say upgrade stamina up before health , like I’d do stamina 2 times more then health . If you’re not so good and will get hit more I’d say health first

Well I see hokan would be the key, if he died earlier in the game he wouldn't be able to save mia or larwan (aiden could save larwan and missile won't explode in x13 but what about mia is unknown)
are you able to free roam after you complete the game? Like Dying Light 1?
Idk it might be a type of jedi fallen order deal where you free roam just before the end of the story
I just completed the game and you can roam around after but some choices are changed for it to work

yo i'm here cuz my cutscene's audio was bugged during the whole ending.... tell me i'm not the only one :)
My game is so bad that when i fight the final boss. I turn into a zombie and i cant even use my freakin weapon to fight him. Everytime i touched the laval my character cant jump, dodge run or attack for 10 seconds.
Damn! so much of tough decision to choose!
First choice, let lawan detonate the explosive. People survive, hakon able to save lawan. But mia won't survive (still alive for a couple of hours before she rest in peace).
Second choice, save lawan, aiden manage to save lawan from explosive, at the same time which hakon able to get mia out for safety (she's alive and continue to live on). But people die ... a lot (no one drink at the bar is a concrete proof)!
In my conclusion: simple choice and easy to choose. I don't care people! I must save Mia and Lawan! Make it both of her alive is the top priority here!
Ps: thanks a lot, hakon. For saving mia! YoT (heartless for people. But aiden must save mia, who is dear to him, including lawan too. At least that won't leave a bad taste in my mouth for my decision!) ;) no regret! ^_^

I got cucked so hard because of a bug…I was at the cutscene where you take the van to get to waltz. Everything was going smoothly until when I am in the middle of the load screen waiting to get the destination. I phase through the floor and my game crashes. I exit out of the game and restart it and now my game thinks I accomplished the mission and I still don’t have the GRE key from Waltz so I cannot progress to get other crates or quarantine zones…wth
