Aurora B.Polaris - Into The Void
What started as a joke became a full-on track. "Into The Void" tells the tale of a wannabe pilot, known as "SkyKing".
"Sky King" is a nickname given to 29-year-old ground service operator Richard Russell after he stole a Horizon Air Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 airliner from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) and died after crashing on Ketron Island in Puget Sound.
On August 10th, 2018, Russell stole the airliner from a maintenance position at the Sea-Tac airport. After attempting the aircraft took off, two F-15 fighter jets were deployed.
That day, Boston Globe journalist Matt Karolian tweeted a link to the Sea-Tac air traffic control broadcast, followed by an announcement that Russell revealed he would attempt a barrel roll maneuver.
After performing the stunt, along with other maneuvers, the plane crashed on Ketron Island in the Puget Sound. Russell, the sole occupant of the aircraft, perished in the crash.
The track highlights exchanges in communication between the Air Traffic Control personnel and SkyKing himself.
The feeling of sadness is really overwhelming and not many tracks I have created convey this sense so deeply. Hopefully you will understand and maybe, just maybe, manage to comprehend what was going through his mind.

Beautiful, giving my stomach & mind barrel rolls of emotion. Skyking was just flying high & wanted some love up there. He was begging for the spotlight & I think he felt ignored by ATC. I feel he had good chance of landing it til Andrew & Bill kept saying water. May have changed his mood. I often wonder how FAA guy & pilot are doing today. Not that they were wrong and Beebo’s right by any means but they did contribute to his decision. IMO

hello, I live in Brazil, I'm using the translator to write these words, I would really like to have the translation of this song but until today where I saw it posted I couldn't, if someone here wrote it for me in English I would use the translator again and I would switch to portuguese which is my language of origin, i would be very grateful even without knowing what she is saying she messes with me a lot
