I just heated it up and coiled it using a carbon rod. Normally you would attach the end to the center of a pendant and coil it around the center to the size you want.
I'm just starting out and your videos are more than helpful my friend! Can I ask, are the terms zanfirico and lattichino interchangeable? Or is zanfirico a specific type of lattichino? The reason I ask is most times (not all, mind you, hence the confusion) I have seen the term zanfirico used, it seems to be several colors/dichro sandwiched between two pieces of clear and then pulled and twisted, resulting in a beautiful cane of multicolored spiral inside of clear. I was simply wondering if this is truly zanfirico or simply complicated lattichino. Keep up the good work! Tony.
Tony Cortese It's a difference of patterns, I think. Zanfirico is easier researched as cane, which is made by making a sandwich out of colors between the "bread" which is clear, then you switch the axis and pull it while twisting. You end up with a flat, twisted ribbon inside a clear rod.
