for people hating on mrinal and saying her cruel, its that such women exist. people like mrinal are actually very sensitive, they got hurt many times which makes them not showing emotions especially if its love, they really care about their dignity the most. since they supress emotions most of the times, their emotions explodes at once which leads to kiss. after realiztion she hurt him to save her dignity. also according to her he is son the person who murdered her whole family. so logically according to her killing him is justified. and she doesn't listen to her heart.
