This content is by far the most entertaining right now within the online pro disc golf world. Im looking more forward to your F9 and B9 videos than DGNW live coverages.
Heck ya man we’ll I appreciate that. This has definitely been something fun and new I’ve been doing and really enjoy sharing my insight with people like you!
What makes the big difference between your content and DGNW is that you are promoting mechanics and spirit. DGNW has lost (never had) the handshake with us online viewers. Their online precence is guided by cash and hunger for dominance, not spirit and doing the sport a favour in my opinion.
I agree, but I would also say Ezra and Aaron’s practice rounds are great content as well!
Great commentary and coaching tips
@@RickySockibombWysocki thanks For the content Rick just wanted to give you a heads up EZ and GOOSE said the wood border on the outside of the teepads was foot fault land may wanna be careful you were on the wood for some of these shots wouldn’t want a Mr. Sensitive on the card to call u on that:/ might be a good rule check aswell
"Just need to throw that one more inch to the right.... yep that's it." No wonder you're a world champ Ricky.
I'm so ready for another great performance from Rick! The tour is better when Ricky's at the top and on coverage. Great practice round, as always.
Right on man always a blast being on feature card final day trying to chase down a win!!
Your last drive at GMC was the best of the round! Love this content. Good luck!
You have the best practice rounds. Watching this helps me watch the entire tournament and understand what everyone is doing. Thank you!
Ricky can compete in the past, compete in the present, and will always be the G.O.A.T. of Disc Golf. Can't say that about anyone else!!
Settle down. He's a beast but settle down.
@@rorytice9911 nah man don't be like that. Let Rick's fans be excited!
Love these practice round videos Ricky. You explain your thought process so well. Hope you have a great tournament.
Ricky, as a fairly new disc golfer ( 2 years ) and almost 62 years old. you are really amazing player. As a current amateur who practices a lot and does a lot of field work I sit and watch these practice rounds in awe of how far you guys can all throw. We all are curious about what it would be like to play these different courses on Tour. I think I speak for a lot of amateurs that we are all wondering about the different distances between gaps and so forth on certain fairways on a lot of the courses on tour. I am tempted to visit all these courses and start a channel that breaks down and analyzes all the distances + so forth. Cameras just do not do justice to the layouts of these holes
Yea depth and distance perception is tough on camera. During the coverage they'll show some aerial views of holes with distances for landing zones and such, that helps a little. Also knowing the distances you throw and then applying that to the distances you see on things helps to understand. You'll never be able to perfectly understand but over time building as much context as possible helps. Unless of course you're lucky enough in life to be able to travel and play the courses. That's just not a reality for most of us.
Rooting for you Ricky! Seeing you play here in VT was a blast this past weekend.
One of my absolute favorite places to play all year!!🙏
That new par 5 addition is a great idea. Looks pretty challenging though!
So crazy how you pure these lines with the little adjustments you make. Fun to watch!
Thanks Man for the Content....You always entertain and inform....keep it coming
Great hole breakdowns Ricky! This is by far my favorite course to watch the pros play, can’t wait to see what happens this next event!
@ricky where do i get that HOODIE!? my sockibomb one needs an update :)
Always a good day when these vids drop. Thanks again for these, Ricky! Also, loved the bomb on 18 and you vocally coaching the disc to soar; been talking to my disc more and more and it’s great when they listen haha. Wish you the best in round 2 of the playoffs good sir!
That was my Caddie alll fired up!
@@RickySockibombWysocki Oh nice! Well you certainly gave him good reason to be fired up!
Let's go Rick!
Ricky posts a video best believe Imma watch and learn from the goat
Lets go, Rick! USDGC or bust, babyy
Clowns Mouth!!! Thats funny shizzz. Rick your vids are the best! You did miss the short hole on one however...
Love these practice rounds! Fingers crossed for the W Ricky! Hope you make feature and then lead card so I can watch you on Jomez!
Your channel has me thinking more about plastic choice these days. The winters mean dead grass where I live, so I'm looking at trying a soft Harp to compliment my soft Anvil this winter
Ooo that Christmas Eye Rive is pretty!
Rick Simon Eagle Corey E. ....my picks for MVP....no order Simon Wins
Ricky…what’s the stability level of your generals currently in colors ,most stable to least? (I.e Black, then blue, then green etc?)
Hey Rick got a question on hole 4 the boards that trim the bricks is that a foot fault if your foot is touching the wood and not completely on the bricks? Just curious goose and Ezra brought it up in their video saying the wood isn't part of the tee pad so just thought I'd ask you
Hey Ricky, what's the best backhand form video to watch? I'm about done growing and i only have about a consistent 430🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
22:36 Shoutout to the water homies saving all the rest of us that struggle to get to the green
This is very educational. And your ability to learn and implement micro-adjustments to your shots is inspiring. Thanks, Rick!
Ya man just enjoying showing you guys the process of learning a course it’s not always a perfect shot it takes time to learn the lines and I enjoy walking everyone through the process! And I get to share some expertise with everyone in the process.
@@RickySockibombWysockiWe’re not worthy!
This is how serious practice rounds should go. I appreciate the humorous ones too, but Rick is there to learn and you can see how he’s breaking the course down. His processor is top notch still. I’m actually picking him to take this one down.
This is, by far, my favorite "practice round" / pre-tournament "strategy" video series of all pros who do this. Would be so amazing to watch you take this one down and grab the win!! Let's go, brother!
Thanks for the videos Ricky. Still haven't thrown the signed slammer I got from you last year. I have another in my bag. You got some skills.
Big Boy Wysocki taking down MVP this weekend. Good luck bud, see you soon
You fixed the mic, nice! Now let's fix the finishing position from 2nd to 1st, this is gonna be your weekend!! 💣 edit: your site seems to be not working, FYI
Yes I listened from the last video we made the adjustment. 😜
Camera is really shaky when walking around. Probably need to use a gimbal.
agreed, its a bit disorienting.
You started this series at Krokhol right? And since then you’ve been killing it. Can’t help but think doing these and thinking out loud has helped you prep
Met you today before the skins match. Good luck this tournament. Your a really nice guy.
Ricky man! You’ve got this! Let’s go! Nothin’ but chains!
Good luck Ricky!
Hey Ricky! Always love the practice rounds. I did have one piece of production advice for your team though. Seems like your lav mic is always distorting a little bit. If they turn the gain/sensitivity down on your recording device it will sound a lot better. Cheers!
Thanks for the tips!
you are the man Rick!!! Always rooting for you!!
Of all the practice rounds, Ricky's are the best. He explains everything while throwing. Ezra and Goose, for example, talk forever before throwing.
Thanks man I try to make it short and sweet and to the point!!
Lmfao. I was thinking the exact same thing. Brings us to the mind of Ricky. These practice rounds are the best all around.
Man I have a couple friends I rarely play with bc of that. Like I don't want a round to take forever, let's get some reps in while we talk dudes!
Ricky, the wealth of knowledge you share in these videos is crazy. Respect for not gatekeeping and being humble as you feel out and adjust to these courses. I'm sure many of your competitors are watching these videos for course beta too 🤣
Ricky did you get your black General back from hole 9? (the par 5 hole)
I'm playing Disc Golf Valley and using your dialogue and shot shapes to hopefully get a better score! It's like you're my caddy! Super cool stuff!!!!!!
By far the best corse break downs go to Ricky. All around very informative. I learn more from one of Ricky's practice rounds then anybody else's. Will miss watching these in the off-season.
These are, by far, my favorite practice rounds to watch. Rick's comprehensive way of how he thinks about a shot is second to none. I don't throw like Ricky. Not even close. Not a lot of people can, but his explanations on how to think are supurb. I learn something on EVERY watch.
Great videos--I honestly think half the pros could learn something by secretly watching these. They are that good. Watching your precise adjustments makes me wonder how you don't win every tournament. I do think your comment "I'm not a results oriented person" is off. You very much are, and it shows in your emotions during a round. Maybe you just meant during your practice rounds. :)
This is what disc golf needs! None of the BS or drama. Giving the community what they want/need. A free lesson with a pro breaking down different shots and shapes is a blessing! Keep it up CHAMP!
❤️ Ricky's practice rounds.. it's packed so full of pro tips. The experience cannot be denied. Pure gold! Let's go Ricky get that W!
Always cheering for you, Ricky! Thanks for always giving the fans a great show. You’re a real one! Take it down this weekend!!
I'd say Ricky will be a favorite this weekend for sure! ✊
Whether you've been playing for a day or 20 years this is a great video to watch. Getting to hear what goes on inside Ricky's head is like gold being given to you for no reason other than for you to have your own gold
Will you ever be playing the Delaware course again? I know before Covid it was getting big and then it fell off. And awesome job at smugglers.
I really appreciate you differentiation of results and feeling. Locking in a good feeling and good results will follow. I like that.
After having such a tight race at a previous playoff series, what do you do physically and/or mentally to reset yourself and go into a new playoff series with the best attitude and confidence to take down a win?
Ricky's practice rounds are the absolute best. So much insight and knowledge to share, really helps me think through my own shots a little bit better.
Careful throwing on the wood on those tee pads Ricky!! Especially hole 4!! That standstill forehand, your heel was touching it and people call foot faults all the time on that one!! For some reason, the wood isnt part of the tee pads on that course
Awesome gameplay breakdowns Rick !
And hook us up with some of those Sockibomb hoodies please ! 😂
The happy outlook with hitting gaps but then getting wrecked by a further tree is so bob ross of Ricky
cool to watch you here cuz i live near by and actually play here so i enjoy hearing a pro talk about how to play the course.
side note: i have many, many discs in the pond at hole 8😂 short pond and long right pond both lol.
Ricky throws disc into the water… “it’s okay we’re learning!”
I throw a disc into the water… “WTH! Son of a…” etc 😂
you are the best ricky! favorite player! felon is my favorite disc! kill it this weekend!!
Great video Rick. Thanks for letting us hear the conciseness flow out of you. Good luck this week!
That par 5 is gonna be tough for a lot of the pros this weekend. We were watching them practice it before skins and alot of the throws were landing and rolling back into the water.
Also so enjoyable watching you develop your game plan!
Your analysis is like getting advice from NASA. You're one of the best for a reason- Best of luck!
Now it's time to beat Gannon in a battle 🤜
You are one of the few who has a good chance of beating him when he's playing good. You can do it.
Jomez practice rounds ❌ Ricky practice round ✅
Rick thanks for being who you are. I hope you continue to find success in life
I want Ricky to coach me through a round of disc golf!!! 😂
On 9 for your 2nd shot, to get over the hill but down in a good spot down low throw an over hand throw.
This place is definitely a bucket list course for me.
I just love all the videos this year, Ricky! Keep it up!
Great breakdown video. Love to hear your thought process on the tee 💪🏼🥏🔥
That hoodie is sick. I need a Sockibomb hoodie in my life.
Great tips on hole #1! These course previews are the best!
Thank you Ricky you legend
I made a trip to Maple Hill once -- man you make it look easy!
I also throw my felon on hole 5 (in disc golf valley)
These tee shots got me excited for this weekend I wanna see Rick win so mf bad
Go get em Ricky you look great this season
Maple Hill is just so beautiful to play.
Ricky that hoodie is awesome.
WE NEED THE GENERAL BACK IN STOCK MAN 🤩
Awesome content! Good luck this week 🙌
Hello all other pros taking notes
Love this video man!!
Let’s go Ricky!
Best golf videos ever made
Clown's Mouth 😂
Amazing as always Ricky! Keep it up....GL this weekend
Thank you for your time and sharing your thoughts and expertise! This content is pure gold!
Rick is chatty.
I feel like Ricky was more excited to play and record back in Europe when he played on new courses instead of playing at the same ones every year
22:30 “That’s gonna be perfect unless it hits that random tree right there.” Trees like that should not exist on the pro tour. Adds nothing but flukiness to scores. You can’t play around that tree. You just have to hope that a perfect drive barely misses it.
19:20 - If I too could pop a forhand 450 feet down a fairway before I hit a tree. I wouldn''t worry about much else than "What the hell just happened!? 450! Man... I gotta call my mom, this is wild"
Nice practice round 😊 Always fun too watch, and you have great advice 🥏😁
I don't think anyone gonna be jumping in that xD 1:40
