That's not fair to Cooper rush. He has to earn the Job and, to this point, not been able to beat out Cooper

@@JFKMLK lance just got in dallas last season so he didn't have a opportunity to beat out cooper rush. Like you said it's already known that rush is nothing more than a serviceable backup. So why trade for Lance if you're not gonna give him a chance? This is lance 1st preseason with the cowboys so he needs the most reps

All quarterbacks perform better after the run game is established. All great teams can stop the run game. Cowboys need to do these two basic tasks to win a super bowl. This all starts with the men in the pit. We need offensive and defensive linemen.
IT'S ALL ABOUT KNOWING THE PLAYBOOK. EVERBODY HAS TO KNOW THE PLAYBOOK. FRONT TO BACK AND BACK TO FRONT.PERIOD.
The biggest issue with Trey has been his health, the only reason he didn't pan out with the 49ers was injuries, the talent has always been there, he has yet to play a full season, I hope he get a lot of reps during OTA's and training camp and most important preseason games
They could've worked with that. The issue was Shannahan. He never wanted Trey Lance.

I think the Cowboys are getting Trey ready to compete for the starting job ..Trey will get a chance to shine in pre-season and when Dak gets hurt Trey will start and it's possible Dak won't get his job back .

Yes Trey Lance make some good plays in that San Francisco 49ers game but that was because of the offensive system that he was in Mike McCarthy rents a whole totally different offensive system then Kyle Shanahan so until like you said law they get a running game the Dallas Cowboys is not going to win a lot of football games get in the playoffs and also get past the playoffs .

Just like everything else this front office traded for Lance with no plan. If you wanted real competition for Dak, you would've had a plan for developing Lance. He would've had an actual gameday roster spot instead of the emergency qb spot, so he could play in mop up duty. That way you could somewhat evaluate him.
This week Dallas needs to name Trey Lance the starting QB and Dak will be QB3…let Dak’s agent find him a team. Dak and his agent can’t afford to have Dak be QB3 during 2024 season

No offense, but every QB from North Dakota State has sucked. I'm hoping he can give us something, but I'm not hitching my franchise to him. I think he'll be a quality backup that can hold you down a few games, but that's it. I see him putting in the work, but I also see Jalen Hurts putting in work, too. I wish him luck, and I'll gladly apologize if it works out, but for now, it's a pass for me.

I say get rid of Dak and let Trey Lance take over. Lance is way younger and he was thev3rd over all pick in the the draft and he was awesome in college he just had bad luck with the 49rs he got injured twice 2 years in a row and that's why Brock Purdy got his chance because Lance and Jimmy G got injured but come on number 3 over all pick in the entire draft and Dak was drafted in thev4th round 53 over all, come on just saying and if They Lance doesn't play good o well it can't be any worse then Dak but at least we would know whether he is the future or not
He has all the tools, that’s what got him drafted. But playing quarterback in the NFL is all about the intangibles. Not many have those. He hasn’t demonstrated more than your 5 minutes of video.

Let’s keep this real. As long as Dak is the franchise QB, Lance and no other QB will play unless it’s 2. Minutes in the 4th quarter and we are ahead by 40 points as it should be. Also, If he was soooo good, the 49ers would not have let him good. So don’t make this kid better than he is. He just needs to watch and learn but this pup is not ready to lead our Cowboys.
