This is a great video, thanks for sharing! Dehydrated foods are amazing, just need to scale up the dehydration system itself. That way we have a lot more of the end product. Best, David and Rachel from CFS!

This is the first year I dehydrated a bunch of our pears, and had been wondering if I should try some apples too. Guess the answer is yes! I have that same hand crank peeler; it works great.

Hello, happy to see Stark bros has a channel, I just recently purchased about 6 products ( fruit bushes and trees). My question is I would like to keep my trees in containers like 20 gallon containers just in case I have to move them around for sun purposes. What’s your take on keeping them in containers would you mind doing a video please and thanks

Hi There! Dwarf fruit trees are great for container gardening! The main thing is to protect your trees in extreme heat or cold. Keep in mind that the hardiness zones for each variety are for in-ground planting. You'll want to keep them well-watered in the summer and protected in the winter.
We do have a video where we covered much of growing fruit trees in containers here:

Dehydrate,, then vacuumed sealed, and then the freezer, that seems to be over kill! Do they really need to be frozen after the first 2 processes?

It depends on how long you want them to last. Properly dehydrated apples keep for about 6 months when sealed and stored correctly, but if you freeze them they can last up to a year.

Title does say long term. Overkill is never bad if going for long-term storage.
