Lassie - Episode

A wonderful episode featuring Andy Clyde ("Mr. Cully" from the Timmy and Lassie years) as Ben, an old miner, who nurses a cow back to health and then refuses to give it up to the cattle rancher that owns it. There is no mistaking that wonderful acting of Andy Clyde, and it probably was wished by more than me that he would be returned as a semi-regular character to the Lassie and Ranger Stuart years. Alas, it wasn't to be as the wonderful and loveable Andy Clyde died the following year in May 1967 after 4 decades performing on the stage and screen, and delighting audiences young and old. So enjoy this episode as a wonderful reminder of this great old character actor from the old Timmy and Cully and Lassie days, now with a forest ranger standing in as Lassie's new owner.
