    Not just more stress on the hip, but also the insertion of the achilies tendon into the heel bone

    What has the larger standing platform. The trip, pranayama, or ember?

    I am wondering if Gullwing Chargers 161mm trucks would work, and fit a big wheel like the Otang in Heat. That is my desired setup, but I'm unsure if I would get bite or not, because its a really wide wheel.

    I want that Trip. I would like wheels as large as possible, but dont want the wheels to stick out to much? Did you say you run the 80mm Kegels on it with a 155 mm truck?

    Would the 7-ply Trip be able to hold 180-190lbs if I use it as just a campus cruiser? Maybe the occasional sharp carves for fun but I wouldn't be pumping on really uneven surfaces or anything.

    • @PantheonLongboards
      @PantheonLongboards  9 лет назад

      +2pac The Tank Engine yes for sure. 190 is pushing it but you'll have a nice comfy flex and the deck is very low but not so low that it will be bottoming out everywhere.

    $90 for that deck.....what a steal

    Ever tried the Bennett-Tracker combo on these boards? How could you wedge and dewedge the trucks on a drop-thru?

      there are wedge/shock pads that have a hole in the middle or two piece wedges on the market aren't there ?

    Hello there, I was looking into getting a long board for commuting to work on and someone suggested a Trip board might be just the ticket. I really like the board but I'm a heavier guy around 310lbs. Would the trip be able to handle my weight or would it have to much flex for me?

    • @gert-janbrand980
      @gert-janbrand980 9 лет назад +1

      Mark Cochran On their website they say up to 180lbs for the 7 ply. They also have a limited 8 ply, but dont think it would cover an additional 140 lbs.

    Would the Pantheon Quest have flex for some 135 pounds? I want a commuter/cruiser board. Is the Pantheon Quest comfy over long periods of time?

      From what I've heard, it's a very good board for pushing

    • @BustinJV
      @BustinJV 8 лет назад

      YES! Quest is fantastic and would work for your weight no problem. If you're looking for a little bit lighter setup, at your weight you could easily pull off the Trip at 7-plys.

    hello Pantheon longboards,
    what is the set up that you use in the video for the Trip and the Quest? i really like that your leg cant touch the back wheel....
    so what kind of trucks and wheels is the best?
    thank you!

    • @BustinJV
      @BustinJV 8 лет назад +1

      There are a lot of good options. I would pick truck between 150 and 165mm. Look to the video for setup examples. The Paris 150s with a smaller contact patch wheel is a dank setup. Also if you want it lower, you can whip out some TKPs and run something like a Polar Bear 155mm. Cheers man!
