I've battled anxiety and depression for nearly 30 years. How I made it this far only God knows. I only became a Christian a couple years ago. The rest of the years I spent running from my pain through, drugs, alcohol, porn etc. God is slowly healing me. Don't be like me. The longer you run from your pain, and from God, the worse it gets. I believe it makes actually changes to your brain and body. Just surrender unto Jesus our Lord NOW!
Still experiencing severe panic attacks and heart palpitations. I feel as though I'm dying. It's debilitating. ONLY JESUS CAN HEAL ME GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Remember that our bodies responds to our thoughts. Ask God to reveal any lie or attack of the enemy that my trigger panic attacks. I am not free from panic attacks and I know that you will be free too. God wants to heal you but you have to have faith and depend on God. Praying for you my friend 🙏🏽

It’s amazing how we all go through the same thing! It’s shows that the warfare is real. The enemy tries to plant thoughts, but he did the same thing in the garden. But the enemy is on the outside of us trying to make thing feel a certain way, but the Spirit of God is on the inside of us, and He’s greater.

I remember one time I was going through such a battle in the mind, to the point I heard Jesus say, “Father I plead the blood over His mind.” You aren’t alone in warfare. The Lord is with you always even when it doesn’t seem like it, and we are all in this together and the victory is ours.

I battled with severe anxiety for 10 years and it was controlling my life. God opened my eyes to the truth. And to His word. The more I read His word the more I understand that we were powerful and well equipped to stand firm against the enemy. I learned to cast every thought that tried to trigger me at the feet of Jesus. I asked God to reveal every hidden scheme that the devil had plotted against me. I started to see through my spiritual eyes that it was a battle between the enemy and me. God told me to guard my mind and to be cautious about what was coming out of my mouth. Life and death was in the power of the tongue so I began to speak healing over my life. But most importantly I began to cast down every lie that tried to provoke fear within me. Blessings Bro Aaron... This has happened to me ... wrestling with complaints, questions, ideas, thoughts and doubt even when I know I know Jesus / God is TRUTH. Hard to explain but it was strange. Yet, I did continue to ask God to hold on to me and help me. Even when I continued to read/ study / feed on His word, blasphemous-contradicting doubts crept in my thoughts.... even during prayer.... it was draining... it was a fight. But Thanks to be to God my Savior .. He was faithful to fight for me. Prayer is POWERFUL. Continue to TRUST in the LORD... Even through strange times. Christ Jesus IS the Son of God. Amen. I am struggling with fearful and negative emotions for almost a month ..Can’t sleep at night .I started reading the holy Bible this morning and Thoughts like “is this even true ,why did God do that ,”etc. started occurring to me .I felt really drained and didn’t know what was going on I prayed for this and stumbled upon your channel I seriously believe God has blessed me with this and that this is a sign to stay strong 🕊
Thank you for sharing your story. I have had severe depression & anxiety since Sept 2021. Went through all the meds and the either made me worse or side effects were intolerable. They say its a chemical imbalance in my brain. I've lost almost 30 lbs as I have no appetite. I'd been praying and begging God to heal me. But, nothing changed. I have faith (wobbly sometimes), I know Jesus has the power to set me free to feel again, to feel joy, motivation, hope & His presence. So. ..I have given it to Jesus. I can't fix this, but He can. I submit all of this to Him. Sometimes I have to do it minute by minute. Trusting Him for a testimony that will encourage and help others. I ask for your prayers.
Amen. The Lord is indeed faithful and rescues every one of His children from all their afflictions. I prayed for you. Just keep surrendered, trusting, and resting in Him. Refuse to worry, but only trust in Jesus and His words.

I have been suffering for a year now with intrusive thoughts, fear and anxiety. God brought me out of the depression. Intrusive thoughts have lessened but now I was just fearing getting close to God I have been dealing with shame and fear. Everytime I want to get close to God I was hit with a fear of what if God doesnt want me (accept me) because of my intrusive thoughts. Sometimes I feel as if Im the one thinking these horrible thoughts. I know that fear is not of God and I just need to have faith and get close to him. I really want to draw near to him get to know the amazing God everyone says He is and experience a loving relationship with him. I want to love him so much. I know that I will get through this with his help. I just need to trust his word, sometimes its hard because of me not him. I look at my flaws too much and my sin too much. I loved it when you said that you chose to walk away from the fear and doubt. That just changed my whole perspective.
Aaron , I'm with you I still battle and last night was probably the worst . The fact you made this video hours ago and I woke up at 4 am being attached after surrendering my situation yesterday. And calling out wickedness being spread among people . I don't know where my faith was it was sheer terror and panic and fesring I wouldn't make it out . What is happening ? I'm so tired 😭😭 this was far to difficult, I'm an amateur and what happened it seems only a pro can handle , I'm not a pro Aaron, being a single parent a d trying to deal with this , I can't see the light , and your experiences with depression in the morning , I did too 6am every morning eyes open and doom and gloom no hope . Hi Maddie, surrendering and trusting in Jesus alone and His promises is the way to victory. It’s okay that you don’t feel like a pro in trials. Trials usually push our faith and are meant to help us, so it is often challenging and painful. Also, God won’t give you more than you can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13), so you can rest in that. Rely on His grace for everything. Surrender and trust in Jesus alone. Stop carrying your burdens, but lay it all down before God to deal with.

I am dealing with similar things. I said to God I don’t want to trust my emotions I just want to trust you. Thoughts like “what if your not forgiven” “you backslid, you went too far”. even though these bring me down sometimes I will trust in Jesus. Even when my emotions cause doubt I will have Faith.

I recently was going through the same thing. I kept telling myself to not trust my feelings but remember trust only in the Lord. And everything else I rebuke and reject. I had to go back and examine if I had put on my Armor on
I needed to hear this. I’ve been dealing with panic attacks and intrusive thoughts lately. It’s so isolating but it’s empowering knowing you can just IGNORE, and walk away.

I saw this clip of a bear and a dog the other day.. the bear kept wanting to intimidate the dog by jumping up and down behind and beside him.. but the dog kept looking ahead and ignoring him lol… thought of the bear as the enemy and the dog as myself.. it also reminded me of what you are also saying in this video how the enemy taps on the shoulder to feed us with fear , lies, and distractions.. but we must ignore it all and keep our eyes on Jesus.

I thank God so much for your obedience in sharing your testimony and the Word of God. You have no idea how your obedience has brought deliverance for me. The fist time I found your videos was the one where you talked about the Handbook to Happiness. This book helped to heal me of my anxiety. Of course I still struggle with it sometimes but I know now that once I put Christ back in the center things begin to fall back into place. I always look forward to your videos. This is happening to me. Doubts are creeping in as I see my prayers go unanswered. When I pray in His name and according to His will and it backfires, it leaves me feeling hopeless. I pray for the right words and actions to share my faith with my grandchild who is not being raised in the Church. She questions and wants proof for faith and told her parents she feels if she doesn’t believe as I do, I won’t like her. I show my love in so many ways that to hear this leaves me heartsick and wondering why God hasn’t given me the right words. Isn’t this His will, that I should share my faith with her? Why would He allow this?

Appreciate your sharing brother. Many really solid comments in your video. I like your saying that some feelings are simply lies! Near the start of this video you said the Lord humbled you to the point of brokenness again. I have found this theme being repeated again, again and again... I now think His plan is to enable us to live in that state of realizing our abject need for Him. From there it is only natural (easiest) to cling to Him in that child-like abandoned faith so critical to our experiencing His Spirit and Life shared within us. We met at BSF (Southside) almost four years ago. Sounds like He is continuing His good work in you as with me as well. Knowing my stubbornness and how so very weak and fearful my flesh is, this is really what I also come back to. What makes sense and allows me to "reconcile" if you will, why God would allow me to continue to suffer. (Albeit physical pain or debilitating depression, which also can mimic physical illness.) I always go back to David and him saying "before I was afflicted I went astray...." (Psalm 119:67) I find it oddly comforting that our Lords uses "sheep" as the picture of us. Knowing this is an animal that totally depends on a Shepard for its survival. Anyway thank you for sharing that. So good to see our precious brother Aaron coming out of this latest affliction. I am trying to come off the antidepressant which i got for insomnia. It is so hard i feel like giving up. Because when i dont take the medication i get less sleep or small amounts of sleep and i can’t work because of the fatigue… I don’t want to live on medication anymore and i want to sleep. I live alone in UK i am 26 years old. Things getting very tough. I have to work and i don’t get sick pay. When i don’t sleep i won’t get paid and it’s so difficult to depend on myself and my sleep. I don’t want to give up, i don’t want to move back to home.

I have been going through the exact same thing. I was really close to God, but I kept getting the conviction to cling closer to the word and pray against temptation and doubts, but I ignored it. I feel like somethings squeezing me inside. I try have hope, and stay positive, but it's so hard. I've struggled with intrusive thoughts for 2 months, I'm struggling to discern if it's mine or not. My fear is blasphemy, and blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It's something I struggle with, I don't think my heart is hardened but sin, like swearing, lying, secular music. Everything has been so tempting and I just prayed to him asking him if he could test me, I wanted to surrender fully and I'm trying. I just have no clue how. I can't look at myself, I just hear "enemies child" it kills me. Literally. I feel disgusted, I'm Christ child. I don't belong to evil anymore, but my thoughts keep getting sexual about Jesus or God, I can't even think of hugging Jesus. My emotions control me, I hate it. I struggle to have faith, so this helps
I prayed for you. Ignore those evil thoughts because they are lies. Remember this simple truth from Dr. Neil Anderson: If you are thinking of something you do not want to, it’s not from you. Identify the lies and then ignore them. And instead, dwell on God’s promises.

Would you be willing to show an example of journaling for us? Also how to recognize lies? I'm really struggling and I seemed to start getting better but it seems like 3 steps forward 5 steps back. I used to be the one who would take initiative to handle the hard things and troubles, now I feel stuck and like I cannot do anything and cant think and don't know what to do. (Maybe freezing?) I notice it and I want to snap out of it. A family member passed away and idk what to do anymore. I'm a trained type of therapist and I have a therapist of my own, yet it's nothing cause it doesn't help and people don't understand the way my Christian brothers and sisters are able. After finding Christ I did not desire to return to my job because I realized it was alot of lies, new age techniques, and idolatrous things that were introduced through mental health services. Thanks

They say its a chemical imbalance in my brain. I've lost almost 30 lbs as I have no appetite. I'd been praying and begging God to heal me. But, nothing changed. I have faith (wobbly sometimes), I know Jesus has the power to set me free to feel again, to feel joy, motivation, hope & His presence. So. ..I have given it to Jesus. I can't fix this, but He can. I submit all of this to Him. Sometimes I have to do it minute by minute. Trusting Him for a testimony that will encourage and help others. I ask for your prayers.
Amen. The Lord is indeed faithful and rescues every one of His children from all their afflictions. I prayed for you. Just keep surrendered, trusting, and resting in Him. Refuse to worry, but only trust in Jesus and His words.

I have been suffering for a year now with intrusive thoughts, fear and anxiety. God brought me out of the depression. Intrusive thoughts have lessened but now I was just fearing getting close to God I have been dealing with shame and fear. Everytime I want to get close to God I was hit with a fear of what if God doesnt want me (accept me) because of my intrusive thoughts. Sometimes I feel as if Im the one thinking these horrible thoughts. I know that fear is not of God and I just need to have faith and get close to him. I really want to draw near to him get to know the amazing God everyone says He is and experience a loving relationship with him. I want to love him so much. I know that I will get through this with his help. I just need to trust his word, sometimes its hard because of me not him. I look at my flaws too much and my sin too much. I loved it when you said that you chose to walk away from the fear and doubt. That just changed my whole perspective.

Aaron , I'm with you I still battle and last night was probably the worst . The fact you made this video hours ago and I woke up at 4 am being attached after surrendering my situation yesterday. And calling out wickedness being spread among people . I don't know where my faith was it was sheer terror and panic and fesring I wouldn't make it out . What is happening ? I'm so tired 😭😭 this was far to difficult, I'm an amateur and what happened it seems only a pro can handle , I'm not a pro Aaron, being a single parent a d trying to deal with this , I can't see the light , and your experiences with depression in the morning , I did too 6am every morning eyes open and doom and gloom no hope . This morning at 4 was completely opposite it was full on anxiety with panic . It's too much Aaron I need a reprieve 😭😭
Hi Maddie, surrendering and trusting in Jesus alone and His promises is the way to victory. It’s okay that you don’t feel like a pro in trials. Trials usually push our faith and are meant to help us, so it is often challenging and painful. Also, God won’t give you more than you can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13), so you can rest in that. Rely on His grace for everything. Surrender and trust in Jesus alone. Stop carrying your burdens, but lay it all down before God to deal with.

I am dealing with similar things. I said to God I don’t want to trust my emotions I just want to trust you. Thoughts like “what if your not forgiven” “you backslid, you went too far”. even though these bring me down sometimes I will trust in Jesus. Even when my emotions cause doubt I will have Faith.

I saw this clip of a bear and a dog the other day.. the bear kept wanting to intimidate the dog by jumping up and down behind and beside him.. but the dog kept looking ahead and ignoring him lol… thought of the bear as the enemy and the dog as myself.. it also reminded me of what you are also saying in this video how the enemy taps on the shoulder to feed us with fear , lies, and distractions.. but we must ignore it all and keep our eyes on Jesus.

I thank God so much for your obedience in sharing your testimony and the Word of God. You have no idea how your obedience has brought deliverance for me. The fist time I found your videos was the one where you talked about the Handbook to Happiness. This book helped to heal me of my anxiety. Of course I still struggle with it sometimes but I know now that once I put Christ back in the center things begin to fall back into place. I always look forward to your videos. This is happening to me. Doubts are creeping in as I see my prayers go unanswered. When I pray in His name and according to His will and it backfires, it leaves me feeling hopeless. I pray for the right words and actions to share my faith with my grandchild who is not being raised in the Church. She questions and wants proof for faith and told her parents she feels if she doesn’t believe as I do, I won’t like her. I show my love in so many ways that to hear this leaves me heartsick and wondering why God hasn’t given me the right words. Isn’t this His will, that I should share my faith with her? Why would He allow this?

I struggle with fear and listening to what you shared, I realized I don't have to, I have to run to God who always receives us with open arms, and trust Him like a child, as you said, knowing this is training me to grow in trust and faith in Him... i understand more deeply now when Jesus himself said in Matthew 18:3-4 "Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Near the start of this video you said the Lord humbled you to the point of brokenness again. I have found this theme being repeated again, again and again... I now think His plan is to enable us to live in that state of realizing our abject need for Him. From there it is only natural (easiest) to cling to Him in that child-like abandoned faith so critical to our experiencing His Spirit and Life shared within us.
We met at BSF (Southside) almost four years ago. Sounds like He is continuing His good work in you as with me as well.

What makes sense and allows me to "reconcile" if you will, why God would allow me to continue to suffer. (Albeit physical pain or debilitating depression, which also can mimic physical illness.) I always go back to David and him saying "before I was afflicted I went astray...." (Psalm 119:67) I find it oddly comforting that our Lords uses "sheep" as the picture of us. Knowing this is an animal that totally depends on a Shepard for its survival. Anyway thank you for sharing that. So good to see our precious brother Aaron coming out of this latest affliction. I am trying to come off the antidepressant which i got for insomnia. It is so hard i feel like giving up.
Because when i dont take the medication i get less sleep or small amounts of sleep and i can’t work because of the fatigue…
I don’t want to live on medication anymore and i want to sleep. I live alone in UK i am 26 years old.
Things getting very tough. I have to work and i don’t get sick pay.
When i don’t sleep i won’t get paid and it’s so difficult to depend on myself and my sleep. I don’t want to give up, i don’t want to move back to home.
My love has grown cold.

I have been going through the exact same thing. I was really close to God, but I kept getting the conviction to cling closer to the word and pray against temptation and doubts, but I ignored it. I feel like somethings squeezing me inside. I try have hope, and stay positive, but it's so hard.
I've struggled with intrusive thoughts for 2 months, I'm struggling to discern if it's mine or not. My fear is blasphemy, and blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It's something I struggle with, I don't think my heart is hardened but sin, like swearing, lying, secular music. Everything has been so tempting and I just prayed to him asking him if he could test me, I wanted to surrender fully and I'm trying. I just have no clue how.
I can't look at myself, I just hear "enemies child" it kills me. Literally. I feel disgusted, I'm Christ child. I don't belong to evil anymore, but my thoughts keep getting sexual about Jesus or God, I can't even think of hugging Jesus.
My emotions control me, I hate it. I struggle to have faith, so this helps
I prayed for you. Ignore those evil thoughts because they are lies. Remember this simple truth from Dr. Neil Anderson: If you are thinking of something you do not want to, it’s not from you.
Identify the lies and then ignore them. And instead, dwell on God’s promises.

I used to be the one who would take initiative to handle the hard things and troubles, now I feel stuck and like I cannot do anything and cant think and don't know what to do.

I'm a trained type of therapist and I have a therapist of my own, yet it's nothing cause it doesn't help and people don't understand the way my Christian brothers and sisters are able.
After finding Christ I did not desire to return to my job because I realized it was alot of lies, new age techniques, and idolatrous things that were introduced through mental health services. Thanks
