Would never thought of checking the burners. Thank you for the videos🤙🏽
Huge picture diagnosis! Nice job Bill, rookie mistake putting the burners in wrong and there were only 3 smh. Moisture in regulator can have same symptoms, no run at night then running when you get there.
You gave them a Ginormous picture diagnosis. Chris needs to take notes. Hahahahahaha. Joe you can copy off Chris's notes. Lol.
Good to see a video from you, Bill
Huge picture diagnosis. Always striving for better. 😂
they'll call you back for repairs late summer into fall, after the unit quit cooling completely. 🤣
Good videos. Learning a lot of troubleshooting skills from them. Gas is not my forte, but I have to learn it. Thank you.
awesome job on the big picture quote. grate find on the burners out of order.
HUGE PICTURE SERVICE, the new catch phrase of 2022. Good eye on the burners, keep up the good work.
Thanks Bill, keep them videos coming my friend!
Good job! Thorough inspection turns you into a professional technical advisor & differentiate you from the rest of the pack👌
Hey!!! Hello and Happy New Year !!! Nice to see a video from ya!!!!! Hope all is well as could be ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🍻🍻😎🇺🇸🧔♂️
Good ol' crusty rusty burners.
Thanks for this videos bro. It helps some of us a lot
Nice catch. A lot of guys would have missed that.
I usually sharpie a 1-2-3 on my burners for the next soul
He’s backkkkk
It just occurs to me that I really don't like Carrier package units. Excellent job and great find on the mis-matched burners.
Nice catch, still rocking my sticker on my tablet computer and laptop. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing the video !
The non-coherent tech strikes again 😁
Great catch on this one 👏
Yup.. its a weathered maker. Always check heat exchangers. I would quote to replace. I bet that's a 22 unit too. The rusty gold mine it is. Good stuff Bill. Stay safe and be well.
why Replace what isn't broken as he clearly shows in the video besides being a bit dirty and just generally being a Older unit that needs a tiny bit of TLC it's actually in good shape it has a new heat exchanger and new ignitor and flame sensor so no need to replace it as long as it's still working well which at this point it seems like it is
Good one Bill 👍
Never mind the heat the Condenser coil looks like it could use some TLC
Bill have you been absent with your great videos. Haven't seen any in a while.
Good one Bill
Sweet video. Nice spotting
Cool vid man very thorough and efficient!
Question about near the end you said it was bypassed the old fashioned way, what was bypassed and how? Thx :)
🤘
Eat with chop sticks and you'll have the one hand voltage test down pat.🤣
Nice job
who needs flame crossover in a timely manner anyway! 🙄
wonder how long it's been short cycling and locking out
check the second/third tube on the heat exchanger 12 o'clock position from the blower compartment .. guaranteed its cracked
Good video
Nice catch. Only thing I would have done differently is check gas pressure. If the person before you couldn't get the burners back in proper order, they probably didn't verify gas pressure.
👍
🤙🏽
👍👍👍
Difficult to measure with one hand, but safer no,?
Lots will say safer, sure. However it is quite harder to hold the probes, which mean you will more easilly slip.
The idea that it is safer is quite flawed. The real danger is to get a shock from one arm to the other, which mean that the current will flow throught your heart. This also mean that you fucked up twice at the same time.
If you get a shock from your left hand to your leg or foot, power will flow throught your heart, and is probably more dangerous than arm to arm, because arm to arm the current will mostly flow higher than your heart (your arms are higher than your heart), however left arm to lower body, the current will flow throught the heart.
So, what do you think is safer, using one hand clumpsly or two hands with more precision and feeling?
I’ve lost your email address. I have a video I want to send you on these Carrier gas packs. You should tap on the rollout switch on the disk. The bymetal gets rusted and the vibration of the unit will trip it. I use the Mars adjustable set to 190. The differential doesn’t matter. Once it trips it locks out through the board. 7 blinks and it’s getting replaced. An inexpensive part and avoid a call back. Stay safe.
I think this unit need to replace..
I know where this is
