Instant Thadal/Thandai Drink for Iftar and Sehri - Ghazal Siddique

  • During the summer, people love drinking Thadal/Thandai/Sardai, especially during iftaar/iftar and sehri time because it takes away your thirst and it also gives you instant energy and strength during Ramadan/Ramzan. Homemade Thadal will be cheaper, tastier, and cleaner than store-bought. This energizing drink has such an amazing aroma which makes it popular for its unique taste and is known to beat the heat. This sharbat is made of all-natural ingredients, such as almonds, poppy seeds, melon seeds, or sesame seeds to enhance the cooling factor, fennel seeds, and green cardamom seeds to elevate aroma, to add a twist and earthy layer of taste, there are black peppercorns and cumin seeds, a blend of nuts and spices which you grind together and keep in an airtight container. Mix this with brown sugar or jaggery or honey and cold water or milk and enjoy a refreshing tasty drink. If you live in a hot or tropical region, make sure to take more fluid than you eat. This healthy and easy-to-make drink without preservatives and chemicals will energize you, revive your senses and prepare your drained body for the next day’s fasting.
