Having been a part of that audience for both the semifinals and the finals in South Korea, it's an experience that I'll never forget. The surge of energy from thousands of other spectators cheering around me is a priceless spectacle to behold. I was a professional player in 2007 for a lesser known first person shooter. At the time e-sports was still in its infancy and there were only several hundred people in attendance at the world finals for that game. But just being a part of the gaming community and having that experience as both a player and a fan is something that I hold close to my heart and something that I'll remember to my dying days.
Soldier Front. It was a smaller asian-style FPS that the American company, IJJI adopted on their network. Same network that adopted Gunbound and Gunz. But the playerbase was enormous and so were the fans and community.
TheSmeden01 go to league reddit. basically hes been mentioning about retirement for a while now. i guess hes leaving SSW to play for a lower org, one with less rigorous training. he also mentioned he isnt sure what hes doing next. (mandatory for korean man to serve in army for a few years, or he might stream, or join another team) everyones basically praising him for leaving SSW while at the top of his game, instead of slowly dying out like other pros
The best support I've ever seen. Everything he does is on point and he never overextends. He makes the calls for his team aswell. Probably the best Janna player we've ever had and we probably won't see anyone that good with Janna in the future. A shame he retired though, would have loved to see more from him.
keepiebake i agree is the best, but ive seen all the games of Fnatic, and Yellowstar playing Janna is fuking amazing. See the play vs Og saving rekkles and more
He achieved his main goal he wanted to achieve , become world champ , now he will stream for a bit to get more known and then he'll go to the army of south korea i believe ( thats mandatory)

Im waiting for season 7 xD . Just look at KT team : Mata ,Deft , Pawn , Smeb ;333 . This final can be awesome : SKT vs KT
Mata is the only support to ever win MVP at Worlds. Think about that for a 2nd lol
What a God. May he have the best of luck in his future endeavors, Deff will sub to him on twitch :D
how fitting since he left SSW today.
They can probably pair Mata up with an A.I. player and they'll stomp solo queue gold/plat.
The best team ever
0:56 was so damn slick
+Andreas Litfin To be fair that play wasn't only mata. It was the best botlane in the world in action.
