Egypt Luxor Karnak, Luxor temple complex episode 2

In the second part of our stay in Egypt, we invite you to watch our movie from the trip to Luxor. In Karnak there is a complex of temples built at different times, dedicated to the Theban gods. The central place is occupied by the world's largest temple with a column hall, the so-called "Great Hypostyle" - Temple of Amun-Re. The temple of Montu - the god of war, adjoins it from the north, and the sanctuary of the goddess Mut, the wife of Amun, is located to the south. These temples are connected with each other by processional avenues. In 1979, Karnak was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
