- More Bo! This is one of my favorites.
Any more Bo we should be watching? We don't want to miss anything.
Love you!

I just realized, in all other performances of this song, the lyric is “I wanted my name in lights when I could’ve fed a family…”,
But in this performance, he said WE
Holy shit😦
Funny how, given the star-studded nature of the room, he changed a single word and implicated everyone there...
Good call. Thank you. This song was written about men like Judd Apatow Ray Romano just churning out mediocre TV and movies while Carlin rolls in his grave
it’s interesting to hear people’s first reactions to this song, knowing that after a few listens i don’t laugh because you’re basically not supposed to, the way he slams the keys angrier and angrier everytime the crowd laughs is a giveaway.
it’s fascinating.
Yep it’s not a funny song at all
@@franzegruensteine208 yes!! And he start the song saying this in the album
@@luizfilipepaiva2777 yup and when people laugh it drives me nuts lol
Old comment, it’s mainly because Bo had looked uncomfortable the whole episode, so when they asked him to play this song that was his last straw. After this he was quiet for the rest of the show, let out anger then sat in silence.
Except it is a funny song, the irony of performing a song to people who have paid to come and see you, about how having them pay and come and see you is wrong, is funny. But you get muppets on the internet trying to fall over themselves to say how they "understand Bo now" and don't laugh because its not funny. It's fucking cringeworthy. Like people stood in a room together looking at a blank canvas trying to convince themselves and each other that they all understand the artistic genius behind it, a quest to feel intellectually superior. The song is funny, the song is meant to be funny, its also holds serious feelings that he had (guilt), but it was definitely meant to be, and is, funny.
oh man that whole episode of the green room is great... but particularly great to have Bo perform art is dead in front of life long entertainers.
Love how in this performance he changes the words from I to we, when he's talking about wanting they're name in lights.
"we're rolling in dough while Carlin rolls in his grave" is a banger of a line. I would give my pinky to see one more Carlin performance in 2022.
"Welcome to the Internet" and "All Eyes on me" are really good. well most of his stuff is really good.
I really hope they do "White womans Instagram". Their background is just too perfect.
this green room episode is brilliant. Bo is 100% George of our generation. спасибо за видео, красавчики ;)
Русскоговорящий фанат Бо?
О боже, я не один.
Bo doesn't slam the piano in other versions of the song. A woman in the crowd laughed at a line that wasn't meant to be funny, and he broke into anger mid song
Which line??
I love how ANGRY this version of the song is. You picked the right one to react to!
I completely disagree, this is nowhere near as impactful and beautiful as the original. Not just music-wise, but even just technical audio-wise, the person who is doing the sound editing did an awful job, or they got a shitty mic or something because the microphone keeps peaking, which again ruins it. And I mean yeah, he does get super angry which is cool to see, but considering that those two had never heard the song before, they don't get that context the way that you or I do, from us being familiar with the original. It would have been so much more impactful for them to do a reaction to this version AFTER seeing the original. Because they would know the entire song and what it was saying, and therefore would pick up on why Bo starts slamming on the keyboard and getting so upset, all because of who he's performing for
@@babyblue_22 This was the first version of the song I heard and it’s one of the videos that made me fall in love with BB. For me, it’s the superior version. Personal preference, I guess.
when I looked up art is dead, the version from the special was the first one to pop up
Ron Jeremy was in the crowd and he passed out. Everyone destroyed him. It's a great round table video.
ur thumbnail perfectly illustrated that Art is Dead.
Thank you for the video
Can't figure out why she keeps laughing. He hasn't even got to the funny yet.
Nice video
It is a cheese. And we in New Haven ct prefer it to Parm when on apizza.
Oh no you chose the wrong version..
Why he look just like mac
Why is she laughing every 3 seconds in the beginning while nothing funny is happening? Nervous tick?
or ppl just like to, yk. laugh, she couldve found something funny doesnt gotta be a nervous tick
@@Ray-xh5ov wierd, ppl usually laugh when something is funny. When you laugh at something that isn't funny, it comes off as disingenuous.
@@Bakemer94 idk man lmao i laugh at things that arent rlly supposed to be laughed at. then again i suck at cues mostly due to being autistic
@@Bakemer94 then you never knew a woman before because they'll laugh when they are nervous or when men try to be weird with them they'll do that to get out of the situation
Why is there laughing feel like it's timed
123 laugh 123 laugh like they don't even laugh at the funny parts they laugh at the most unfunny parts in the middle of the sentences
Girl seems fake af
