Thank you soo much! I agree with you, I totaly love that character and it's a dream to have a full blown advanced wavetable machine with prophet 5 filters! :) This is the first synthesizer where I feel that i am the limit in imaginations. Do you have a wavetable synth also?
@@infestedalien I've had a Waldorf XT, XT-30, XTK, M, Q, Blofeld in the past. Right now, my source of digital waves is the Sequential Pro-3, but I'm very much wanting to grab a 3rd Wave at some point, or another M. I had to sell my M a while back, but am back in a position to pick one up again. That said, I think the 3rd Wave would be a bit more of an adventure since I've already programmed and enjoyed so many Waldorfs. :D
@@DrJ3RK8 you had alot of wavetable experience! I love my pro 3 alot and that digital oscillator is one of a kind. The 3rd wave is a machine with much character and the prophet 5 filters are just right for this type of machine:) i had a hard time to choose desktop or not. Im happy i went with keyboard since the lack of few controls like the module have would drive me crazy. Altho it was a super expensive pick. :(
@@infestedalien I would definitely pick the keys if I had the space. Unfortunately, I'm currently short on that. If I end up with one of these, I'll probably have to get the desktop. Unless I ditch my controller, reorganize, and use this as the controller for everything of course. :D
@@DrJ3RK8 I can say that the keys are okay on this machine even if its a fatar. Feels like its exact keybed as rev 2. Its much smoother landing compare to fatar on pro 3 when pressing keys. Please be aware of that rotary knobs are not as rock solid like om the pro 3. But they are not super wiggly. However the rotation feeling is so nice and smooth on 3rd wave and not stiff like on pro 3 😁
Its an amazing machine that made me broke many years to come :(. Its vst and the settings are soft with less "resonance" not to color the sound too much :)
Hi, big thanks! I have unfortunantly not reached the point of starting to selling presets but it's an interesting idea since there has been some requested also for Gaia 2. I think I should try to make a preset pack for 3rd Wave. Right now I am waiting for my definite 3rd wave to get delivered since my first one happen to be a B-stock accidently sent when I ordered a new one. Have a nice day!
Such nice music.. it's a great pity that it is being played on a mediocre and overpriced/overhyped synth like this one. I can only imagine how great this music would sound on a good synth..
@@bartomiejdolny7555 Waldorf Iridium, Arturia Polybrute, Roland Jupiter X, Novation Summit, Expressive E Osmose, Clavia Nord Lead A1, ASM Hydrasynth, Sequential Take 5, to name a few.. And all of them, between 1500 and 2700 Euros, way lower than the 5800 euros of the 3rd wave. Thank me later..
@@RayyMusik The 3rd wave is not the equivalent of a Ferrari. It's like having an Opel Astra costing a million. The synths I mentioned are far better than the 3rd wave..
That's some great sound right there....!
Thank you for your kind words! :)
Nice sounds! Those chopped sounds around 7:00 are the exact reason I love wavetable synthesis.

Damn that thing sounds great too. Sad it's so expensive. Did you youse blackhole hardware reverb or the plugin? Sounds great

Hey Infested Alien this is an insane preset and glorious demonstration. Have you published it? Do you sell presets?

Strong opinion, maybe tell us what is a good synth then.

@@thejollyjoker187So you would call a Ferrari “mediocre“ because it is much more expensive than a good car (VW, Toyota)???
