Back in the late 80's and early 90's I went to work at LaQuinta as a night auditor in New Orleans. There were 5 of them in and around the city. I wound up working at all 5 of them and settled at the one across the river in Gretna. I became very good friends with husband and wife that managed the property. One weekend they were planning on going to The Audubon Zoo and asked if I wanted to come along. I did and it was very enjoyable. At one point we went into the gift shop, and I looked around although most of the things did not interest me. However, I came across a button that caught my eye and bought it. I wore it all the time while at work. A doctor checked in and talked me out of it. I will never forget about it. It said, Age and Treachery will win out over Youth and Vigor Every Time. Great Video , I’m grateful for my dad and what he tried to instill in me and my brothers. We all failed at times but in the end we came around I guess lol. Most of all and first and foremost was Love and honor God . He was not ashamed of Our Lord, and I’m grateful for him living his life in such a way . Lost him this April and miss him greatly. God Bless

Itchy dude life is hard and you don't always get to play by your rules your pops tought you valuable lessons that its going to be tough out there and without saying it he wanted you prepared for the mission and by the looks of it it worked. How your raised matters great video.

If people don't want to visit, an judge me, because my house keeping an landscaping, isn't up to their standards, then I don't need that type of people in my circle.No my place will never be on the front cover of"BETTER HOME AND GARDENING" , I can set an be thankful of everything GOD has provided for ME.

Sounds like your Dad was like mine,Looking back now l think he was building structure in me and my brothers lives for later on in life. I'm glad he did,but at the time not so much.😊

I had a similar upbringing Mark and now I look back and realize I am glad I did. I am independent and capable because of it. You are a remarkable man with a lot to show for your hard work. Your Grandmother and your Dad would both be proud of you ❤

My wife has a pin that said lifes a B and so am i. Shr accidentally wore it on her jacket to a interview. She got the job.

Mark, You have to work for what you have. We weren't born with a silver spoon in our mouth. Actually by observing those born of wealth, never seem to be satisfied. In fact they for the most part are often ungrateful. What a waste. Hard work dune you good. thanks.
