Batteries were standardized in Germany in those days. The battery pack was design to accept a standard 4.5 V battery, which was not available in the US in those days.
YES! I remember those batteries with two long flat contact leashes on the top. I haven't seen one of those for at least 10-15 years anymore. In the 90's you could still get them in almost any supermarket here in Germany. I don't know if they're still produced?
@@andreasklindt7144 yes, they are around. Called "Flachbatterie". You can also buy a kind of empty shell where you can insert normal AA batteries, which are more common and also available as accus.
Kids really had to read and be willing to to play with this in those days. Now, it's just look at pictures and press buttons. We're losing something here...
hi man I just discovered this great channel and I noticed that your newer videos are all posted on youtube kids instead of normal youtube so thats why you get your comments automatically deactivated and thats a shame because comments make the algorithm push the video forward to other people with same interest. maybe you activated that option with youtube kids and you didn't realized why now all your videos barely get any views and comments are not allowed
Beautiful never seen before thanks for showing 🤟🤟🤟💥
Absolutely BRILLIANT!!
It's amazing how we get a glimpse of the toys of the past and what we have today..
Daaaamn thats so cool... Better than most toys
Awesome in every way !
Frankly, I am most impressed with the original documentation and other paperwork. That material so very rarely survives.
