I grew up in halawa valley where the h3 runs through ,I lived in the quarantine station until my dad retired from the state which was in 2001 .I grew up with all the mystery's of the valley ,my parents too also seen night marchers and there are thing that I seen for myself and to this day ,I always respect this place .

I grew up in the Moanalua Gardens area. My dad still still lives in the home that he and my mom raised us kids in. He would tell us about the dog named Poki or Boki that would take the form of a white mist. It would pass from mauka down the valley in our area in the form of a mist. Never saw the mist but every so often all the dogs in the area would howl. The sound reminded me of a wave. Starting way up and making its way across the neighborhood. A little eerie. My dad hasn't heard anything in years.
Can confirm about the haunting at Moanalua High School. Graduated in 96
Makes me feel knowing about hawaiian culture is important to me where I like to visit
I Grew up in Moanalua Valley. My oldest brother is adamant that as a child he heard the drums of the Night Marchers in his head. Our house also had some strange things happen to it.

I grew up in Kalihi-Palama district. Historically that area was largely agricultural, for example taro patches. Hence, few people except farmers and no ghosts and no hauntings from ancient Hawaiian times. Thankfully, no night marchers.
i lived in moanalua valley for a few years, the house i lived in gave me nightmares a few times. one instance i awoke and saw a shadow in my bedroom wall, another i felt threatened by a presence of someone or something climbing through my bedroom window in the middle of the night. other than those few times, i was fine. my brother too who used to sleep in that room had nightmares as well.
moanalua valley trail still creeps me out to this day. hiked it once in the middle of the day and i couldn't shake the feeling of being watched and the whole time it was dead silent. my brother's wife hiked the same trail and said she felt a cold hand grab her wrist but nobody was there.

@@hmnanda Few people know that the Hawaiian Islands were drenched in blood over centuries of internecine tribal warfare waged by ambitious, aggressive, sometimes amoral high-ranking Hawaiian ali'i chiefs (kings).
I went to mouanlua high school and there are ment ghost stories that go around. I personally only believe three. One is that a lady walk around the back of the cafeteria whole the lunch lady’s clean up. I had to stay behind one day during lunch cuz I spilled some milk after my friend accidentally flipped my stray while standing up. That’s when I heard the lady walking while humming. At first I thought it was one of the janitors but when I looked behind the curtain no one was there. Another one is that a boy runs the school track every morning around 5 or 6. I showed up to school really early cuz I had a wrestling tournament the next day and needed to drop three pound to make Weight so I decided to run the track in some sweats a few times to help with that. I think I was on my second lap when I felt like someone was running right behind me. I lifted my headphones to hear if anyone was behind me and if I need to move to the side. I still heard them so I moved to the side and no one passed me, when I went to look behind me there was no one there so I thought I was just tired and hearing things so I keep running and on my third lap I got past the football goal and I suddenly got really cold. Remember I was wearing a hoodie and sweats. It got to the point where when I circled back to the bluchers I had to leave the track cuz I was actually getting freaked out. The last one is the night marchers the walk through mouanalua high school court yard at night. I had just got done with practice, my mom was at work so I got comfortable at my usual lunch table. Outside the portable in the court yard under a tree. It was around 6 when I started hearing things coming from the cafeteria. I started looking around cuz I was the only one in the court yard. I thought someone was playing a prank on me. I started to get this weird feeling. I’ll never forget it. I was scared but calm at the same time. Then the foot steps got so loud that it sounded like someone or multiple people where walking right in front of me. It got really cold for about 30 seconds then it went silent. By the time it ended it was around 8:00. I spent about a hour looking around once I heard the noise cuz I was really freaked out.
