I would not rent a car in Cuba because even if you get rear ended, you will stay in Cuba...maybe a hotel which you will have to pay for until your trial date which can take a few months. A bunch of friends can definitely foot the taxi bill@@montelcooley2698

I spent a lot of time of Isla de la Juventud( formerly the Isla del Pinos). There was a vibrant nightlife there. But be warned ,it was very difficult getting on and off the island either by air or ferry. Maybe the far east, into Pinar del Rio for some world class tobacco and cigars.
