      That's a great idea, with the sharks around it is the best grinder to catch them on.

    Thanks again Mike.. Always love watching you and learning from you" you make it interesting and give the main points on what you need to know about perticular species" I always thought that bronze bream migrate.. Not sure if it's true but I also heard that there is a tiny organism that lives on a perticular weed that they feed on and they don't really digest that weed but the small organisms..? Plus iv seen guys that fish on boats sometimes catch alot of them on the backline to mini deep?

    Mike, can you advise why Bluefish in the USA are or seem so much bigger than those we get along our KZN coastline??

    • @TheKingfisherFishing
      @TheKingfisherFishing  3 года назад +1

      How do I put this without getting into more trouble regarding the humble shad... They get much bigger all over the world (Europe & USA), probably the smallest in South Africa. There is a lot of pressure on this species in particular here so they don't get the chance to grow bigger.

      @@TheKingfisherFishing Thanks Mike...I watch a good couple of American fishing programs and there are some huge shad!! Like your answer and thank you for the clarification 😊

      Yeah their shad are enormous! They also get massive in the Med. Tight lines

    Guys, can we please get non-edible topics, traces, bait and rods in which to use?

      Thanks for the comment. It's coming into Blue Ray season, we will be doing a traces, gear & tackle and species on that soon. Any other species you'd like to see?

    Hi. Just a query...you mention that the fish is a herbivore but then you say that prawn should be used to target them. Please provide some clarity on this...

    • @TheKingfisherFishing
      @TheKingfisherFishing  3 года назад +2

      Yes it's quiet interesting. Not a true vegetarian, they predominantly eat seaweed but will quickly take a fleshy prawn bait.
