I have tried tons of Forex prop firm challenges and failed most of them. Been trading futures for only 2 weeks already have a funded account with Apex and about to have a 2nd account. Will never go back to trading forex.
That makes no sense , you were just trading wrong , It is way easier to pass forex and have a payout if you are disciplined No minimum trading days , unlimited days to pass , 10% drawdown , u can trade whatever u want
I've done both and prefer forex prop firms for sure....the trailing drawdown with futures prop firms absolutely sucks. And it's a lot easier to actually manage risk with the forex prop firm structure if you're smart. How easy is it to risk half to one percent per trade and only deal with a 8 or 10% STATIC max drawdown? With futures, you have to be a scalper or you'll have a very hard time surviving long term. If you have a profitable strategy, forex prop firms is the way to go, once everything is settled with the platforms and regulatory issues.
I agree with this 100% The futures prop firms seem to be geared toward degen (gambling) trading and their rules are designed to make it very likely you'll fail. With Forex, you can trade precise decimal amounts, you can hold your positions for as long as you want, most Forex firms don't charge a monthly fee when you are funded, and you have way more tickers you can trade.
@JArthurStudios also a big plus for forex prop firms is that it's a lot easier to scale up and work with multiple prop firms and accounts....assuming you have a good trade copier. I'm using Traders Direct and they integrated Meta Quotes with C Trader and DX Trade already. So you have a lot of flexibility and can easily get a million or more funding and trade them all effectively.
@@JArthurStudiosSome futures prop firms are still good but you really need to be more of a scalper to be successful and a good trader. Forex is more forgiving in my opinion.
I like the idea of being able to say that I'm a professional trader working for a trading firm when people ask you what you do for work, it sounds more legitimate and understandable
Say if I’m on a 10k FTMO challenge, and I make more than 1k the first time and more than 500 the verification stage, will I still get that full profit split including the excess profits I made? (More than the required amount?)

From how I understand it you dont get any of the profits made in ph1 and ph2. You will only get profits after you get the funded account.
You didnt talk about the forex propfirm refundable fees
Yes this is a big benefit to the forex firms for sure but is it enough?
🎉🎉🎉
Those monthly future payments are ridiculous like wtf?
Just pass the challenge in one month. It’s not hard tbh
@@renebleu8711does the monthly payments only applies on the evaluation phase?
After passing and paid the lifetime activation fee I no longer need to pay monthly right?
Apex has stopped paying people. They cancel your account before your payout and give you a "refund"
when?
Is this happening for everyone now or is it just a few?
But how we can trade outside of us like Pakistan country have no future trading allowed
I am not sure about the trading regulations from your country. I would suggest trying to join some trading groups from your country to discuss this.
