- Here's a rare performance from the trio group Sweet Sensation. Performing this jam was Betty, Sheila and Margie at the show American Bandstand on April 15th 1989. This song reached at #58 on the US Billboard 100 and #1 on the Hot Dance charts.

Those Puerto Rican girls are hot. Sweet Sensation always brought the house down. Awesome choreography, so synchronized.
Of all the female groups of their day, these were the dancers. They obviously spent a lot of time learning the choreography! They didn’t just show up. I saw them a few times in concert, and they always brought the energy. Props!

I went to a Freestyle concert a few years ago in NJ and it was great. Everyone was my age and it brought back so many memories from my youth. Miss it all.
I cannot put into words how much I miss this time of my life. Sweet Sensation did it better than any of the girl groups. And they could actually sing!! (maybe not in THIS clip, but...)
