I just purchased this bass on december 28th 2023 3 days before my birthday and i absolutely love this bass. The moment it came to the Guitar center store played it and told myself "this bass is mine." got it before someone else did great investment indeed

Thank you for this great video! I got this bass in a store in Barcelona May this year. It was on both colors, black and this one your are showing. Stayed with the black. I tried a couple of American Fenders first (I own an American Elite Jazz Bass V) and then I run into this… didn’t even know Markbass was making basses, except for the one they build for Richard Bona.. INCREDIBLE sound and excellent playability!! Easy purchase!!
Why has everyone said the same thing. 😂 “I didn’t know markbass made basses” Literally what everyone says when they see mine. And I have the same exact reaction to it as you. Phenomenal instrument.
@@tracychappell2029 Well, I would say Markbass Gloxy has not the “best”materials regarding knobs, output jack or strap bottoms.. they can get loose easily… that’s where these basses reduce the cost I guess.. also you might find a little bit annoying the fact that the neck is heavier than the body.. but sound wise…. They have nothing to envy to Fender… trust me, I recorded with both… So… my advise would be this one… if your budget is limited and you can spare €700, go with Markbass. Now if you don’t care about money and you can spend more than 2000 euros, go with American Fender.

Olá Antonio, apesar de serem jazz bass os dois, sao muito diferentes, o Markbass é mais leve e tem um excelente pre, mais medio e grave, o sire tem mais agudos, é um som mais aberto, é mais pesado. Pessoalmente os sire fazem mais o meu gosto, principalmente o V10, V7 vintage e o V5 que são os que tenho. Mas atenção este markbass é excelente adoro o. um abraço

It’s clear that you’re self taught which is cool, but that B string is there to be played…had to wait 5 minutes into the video to hear the low string for about 3 seconds. 🙄

Bom dia, o mais grosso é mesmo o Sire V10, depois o v7 e v5. O markbass é o mais fino.
