I travel to Guangdong Province near Hong Kong. I just give my friends money and they buy everything for me so the pricing sometimes I do not know. Restaurants, food, hotels, and apartments are sometimes 50% cheaper than in the States. It's good to know people in China.
I wouldnt use an APP for finding rentals its always better in china to go through an agent as a forigner, lots of appartments dont accept forigners but my experiance is in the south of china not the north
