  • Welcome to my channel. Although my videos are in a tutorial type format, I only really want to give you ideas on ways to use your stamps and dies in different ways, to get the most out of what you purchase. You don't have to keep buying all the new products, most of my videos will translate to stamps you might already have, I will use old products I have, which may not be available anymore, but use something you have or can get. Most of my videos will be floral cards and aimed at the more experienced card makers, but I will endeavor to put some more simple designs in for the beginners.
    This card is a technique i haven't tried before, but I am really pleased with the result, and you get two cards out of the one technique, so that's a bonus!

    Thank you for showing your human side! They are both beautiful cards and the technique is one I have never tried, but looks like a fun thing to do-- or exasperating! I’ll let you know when I give it a go! Thanks so much!

    Helen this is a beautiful card but what was really invaluable to me was seeing you fix the crooked frame. I mess that up at least 50% of the time but it never occurred to me to use the metal edge ruler as a guide. I usually keep trimming and trimming until I only have about 1/2 the frame left. With what you e shown here, I could easily lay down a template or frame die at center and do an easy correction. You just made my day! Thanks a million ✌🏽

    Gorgeous cards think I'm going to have a go at this technique, not sure if I can get that clingy paper you have as I'm in the UK but I will have a look in the supermarket.
    Thanks for the inspiration Helen xx

    It would have been easier if you left the centre in makes it more stable and remove it after it’s on the card.

    Love both your cards Helen.. they are stunning.. I am not sure what press and seal paper is .. don't think we can get it in Australia.. but I will try.. can you please explain what masking paper is please.. I would to do this technique.. thanks for sharing it with us,. :)

    • @handcraftedbyhelen1963
      @handcraftedbyhelen1963  4 года назад

      Thank you Henny, Masking paper is paper that has a low tack backing to it, that you can use when you want to mask a stamp off to do other stamps around it. Then when you take the masking paper away, it shows the stamp behind the stamp you masked. I'm sorry it is hard to explain. Essentially it is a low tack paper, so would work for this technique instead of the press and seal. Equally a repositionable tape would work too.
