I grew up with a hand me down f150, a 97 then a 04. I agree with the one comment here about the brakes feeling a little spongy, thought it might be better with a trailer at half capacity. Will have to see but I'm not planning on being that guy going 85 with a trailer hooked to my ankles either so...
@BenHardy what's your opinion on why Ram is $7k to $10k more for similar options than Chevrolet right now? Is Ram slow to adjust to the cooling off market, or is there more mark-up in the retail price, so they can show buyers that work for it a "big discount?"
Theirs a lot of markup, here in dfw Ram 1500 have had 5-7k off msrp if you look around ford and Chevy have been full price , just recently ford has had 2 k off idk about Chevy since I don’t like Chevy , as for HD trucks they are full price , people need heavy duty and they are probably built to order
@@sergiosanchez2161 chevy is also very outdated on the interiors maybe that's why. Test drove a 1500 and 2500 silverado today and they just seemed so cheaply made and interior quality was pretty bad. I drive a 2016 ram 3500 tradesman and the quality and feel on the interior is still way better than 2022/23 chevys. I was honestly shocked. Looks like I'll stick with ram
I traded my 2017 f 350 toward 2019 ram 2500 Laramie Cummins. I was sold by interior and soft ride. Drivetrain was noisy, slack in drivetrain especially backing up banging . Brakes are spongy, scary on highway towing 13k trailer all over the road . Had for 10days purchased went back to 2019 f 350 6.7 lariat.
As someone who owns one never buy a Dodge truck make sure that they're made in the USA if you do $50,000 I paid 22 recalls on my vehicle in first year .. less than $100,000 MI anybody thinking about buying a Dodge should turn about fast and run towards the GMC or Chevy you won't regret it
This is my favorite truck! Great video Ben.
love the mountains in the back
I just bought mine!

71k is crazy 2019 you could get a high Laramie package or low limited with the discounts that were available, prices are crazy
6 seater?
@@stevenfortune9193 6 seater are rare at the dealership, you almost have to special order to get that option
What I drive but I need to add fog lights and 8.4 infotanment. thats my only complaint but I do have the 5th wheel/GN hitch in bed

2022 Ram 2500HD Heavy-Duty Big Horn 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel Crew Cab 4X4!
I noticed they don't get the LED lights as an option anymore at least with the 1500.
It's not luxurious, but its still a pretty nice truck.
Trucks are tools. If you want luxury then buy a Mercedes
Love the Ram 2500 great looking truck.
Doesn't have the new Rebel tow mirrors.
The only 2500 with a lower rated Diesel and trans from their bigger brother
Good or bad things driver?
That the truck that I want, but they just keep jacking up the price.
Shop used BB
