I have a problem with life. Please help. Check out MMR (maternity mortality ratio), the way it is calculated is very different than what you would expect: maternal deaths per 100,000 live births. If the mother had a still born and died, then it is nothing. Well it is not count as maternity death because the baby needs to be alive to qualify. What the hell? Why not using case fatality rate to calculate?
