Our seaming is one of the most durable resistants. You don't need to add some glue and spread it all over your artificial grass. It is a sheet of paper that you just need to take off and the glue is already on the tape. You don't need any tools and everybody can do a clean and invisible joint by putting the 2 surface of artificial turf over it.
The best advice I will give you today is to keep 2mm on the joint between the 2 surface. The space of the point of a pen to make sure that the blades do not go over each other to make sure nobody will see your joint. If you do need to cut your artificial grass to make a joint, make sure that you use a new blade to make a more clean cut. Cut the artificial grass under it on the black side to make sure you don't cut the fiber. You just need a regular knife and everything will be done easily.
We recommend to lay out the seaming first and place the 2 surface on it with the 2mm gap with a first try before to take out the sheet and glue it on the backing. The last thing that you will need to do is to put some pressure to make sure the seaming stick correctly to the backing of your artificial grass. You don't need to put some nails on the seaming. Yes, it is a strong as glue and is very long-lasting. Unfortunately, we don't ship to Australia. We're only serving North America for now.

as demo videoits ok i would rather see the video include real life try joining a length 4m x 3m its a lot harder using tape on a wider area

I’m sorry but this is just flashing tape and won’t hold up long term. I know because it’s what came with my mine. It failed in less than a year.
