For the people who insist that Taylor is "ruining football" just by showing up to NFL games, may I suggest that certain TEAM OWNERS have done more to ruin football than anything Taylor Swift has done at a game. Ask anyone in Cleveland (which happens to be Travis' hometown) about Art Modell, who moved the first iteration of the Browns to Baltimore in the mid-90's. Cleveland sued and kept the Browns name and history, while Modell was forced to start anew - as the Baltimore Ravens. Also, a team connected to Cleveland and the State of Missouri comes to mind, and frankly that ruined football more than anything Taylor ever could. St. Louis did everything in their power - and according to the NFL's own relocation rules - to keep the Rams in town. However, there was a secret plan to lie the team back to LA - which they left in the first place because, among other things, they lacked fan interest. The owner, a man named Enos Stanley Kroenke who made his billions by marrying into the Walmart fortune, lied to St. Louis about his true intentions - and lied to the rest of the world about St. Louis as a football town. (To the haters, yes, attendance the last few years did lag, but that's what happens when you have 12 STRAIGHT LOSING SEASONS.). It turned out the fix was in, St. Louis lost their team for no good reason, and successfully sued the NFL for damages. At the same time, you had San Diego and Oakland in much more dire need of new stadiums (which doesn't happen in California with public money).
