Hey man, can you ask people if you want them to restore it and warn them it may erase some of their data. I know I wouldn't want him to restore my ipad without permission, I have no icloud storage left and I haven't backed it up in over a year! Try updating it instead, when my ipad got stuck on the apple logo I UPDATED it with I tunes and it worked just the same as restoring, I know this isn't with all cases, but it's worth a shot instead of losing all those memories!

There is a better solution for this problem put the ipad in dfu Mode and instead of restoring the device just update it and it will let u enter the passcode without loosing any data

If it its disabled you don't need to choose Restore and update you can chose update only
