Another great vid! We saw what we thought was a little mouse in the Bunya mountains a couple of months ago, but it being a mouse just didn’t sit right somehow. Now after seeing the little Pygmy Possum you guys saw we finally identified what the little dude was, so thank you 😄🙏🏽
Thank you ☺️ Ah that’s so awesome you spotted one up there. Might be a similar one to this guy, although I think these specific ones are just in Tassie, maybe some parts of Vic? Sorry if that has unidentified it for you 😅 I know how frustrating it is not knowing! Sounds like a possum though, they definitely look and move distinctly different to mice and you’d know if it was a mouse
@@brookandjulius yeah absolutely wasn’t a Tassie one but it helped to narrow it down so we found out they do have Pygmy Possums up in south east Qld too. We just didn’t realise possums got that small!
We didn’t really know about them either! Definitely wasn’t on our animal bingo card for Cradle. At first I was like lizard, but had only seen the tail and then first thought was mouse but straight away like you guys realised it wasn’t. Feel pretty lucky to have spotted it to be honest, and you guy’s probably were up there too ☺️

Look for Mongol Moon and sequel by Mark Sibley. If you like Jack Ryan type stuff I think you will like these.
