Would love to see extra tips in vault as well. Always happy to see a midjourney video on new ideas from you thanks! I was trying to make kids labyrinth lol , it looked good but wasn't working out hehe, maybe with better prompts. Just with grayscale I could have lifetime content though.
Thanks so much for all your excellent videos on Midjourney and KDP, what I've seen so far has my head spinning. The one thing that's stopping me from buying a subscription to MJ is that I don't know how to make the small 72dpi images into a good enough resolution for KDP and print on demand platforms. I have seen people say that upscaling to 300dpi is possible, but in my experience doing so would reduce the size of the file to something that would only be good for small stickers. I would love to see a walkthrough of the technical side that shows the file being prepared for upload, such as formatting, upscaling, conversion to CMYK (if you do that) etc. Any pointers on how/whether we should credit AI in our KDP books would also be amazing. Thank you!
there's lots of different websites that you can use, here's one of them: clideo.com/dpi-converter and increasing DPI does not affect the size of the file
I'm very keen to see the formatting video as I am struggling with converting Midjourney images to be useable in Affinity/Photoshop. Do people still buy composition notebooks or is there just too much competition? I have sold medium content books on KDP but the composition notebooks I've uploaded have never sold.
Actually relaxed mode is just as fast. The only thing is that you cannot upscale in it and you have to switch to fast. I prefer experimenting in relax (not to worry about my fast hours) and then switching to fast if I like the result.
@@vladimir.zlokazov it's 100% about the time of day. Fast mode prioritizes you. Relaxed mode can be quite fast. But when load is a lot on the GPU's then it can take 4 to 10 minutes
@@BlueGeckoLaser you''re right! now it works like that. when I started with Midjourney last year it told me that upscaling isn't available in relax mode.
Hey! Can you give me a tip? I've tried to generate these wonderful hearts that might be simmiliar to yours, but it seems like I can't get over with it. I don't simply like mine :(
That's why you need to learn photoshop, if you want to do graphics related work and have full power. removing that plant is so easy and replacing with anythig else also easy.
Hi does midjourney allow you to use the patterns commercially? because I don't think Amazon allows AI generated material? Can you unpack this in more depth please?
Do you know what DPI these end up? I make patterns and sell them on Etsy, but they have to be 300DPI and 3600x3600px. I'm wondering if there is a way to get that size in Midjourney or SD. Thanks!
72 dpi at 512px Square (unless you do the aspect ratio) Beta upscale doubles it (72 dpi at 1024px square) You'll either have to vectirize it or use BigJpg or Photos hope, Topaz Denoise, or similar to increase dpi and enlarge.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. I typed in the prompts you used, but I keep getting things that don't look like animals. I have the $10 subscription could that be the reason. Do I need to go to the $30 plan?
@@StackinProfit If it isn't the subscription, it must be the way I am writing my prompts. I tried so many different ways to get animals, but all I kept getting was patterns. Some prompts I have done - the picture comes out perfect. I see the things you have created in Midjourney, and I am amazed. I am really trying to get better at it. I will keep watching your tutorials.
@@deloreshillcreative I asked support and it isn't the subscription - yet at the same time my animals look deformed 😞. I think it takes a lot of practice
but those patterns were not seamless. I can see the seams. when making patterns, people do them in squares, not rectangles for pattern match up. at least, that is the way I am being taught. animals get cut off at one edge and not seen on the other side.
Thank you for a very informative video. Love that you shared your process!
You are so welcome!

I will be adding more there as well :) and I know what you mean, I can get lost for hours just playing with grayscale :)
@@StackinProfit Hi Paddy! are you putting in "--v 4" after "--ar 2:3" or is Midjourney adding that? Thank you for sharing your work 🙂

Did you ever make a video about the formatting? I am looking for it :(
which part? :)
Hi! I LOVE how much info you pack in your videos! I am learning a lot, thanks! QUESTION: Are the Mid Journey and CF images good enough for TShirts?
thanks and not "as is" you have to upscale them using a third party website
@@StackinProfit What website do you suggest to upscale?

sometimes it can be but most of the time for me, it's extremely slow lol
@@StackinProfit maybe it depends on the time of the day. I hardly see any difference.

That’s not correct. You can upscale in relax mode, I do it with every image, and I’m still at 100% of my fast time for the month so far.
@@BlueGeckoLaser you''re right! now it works like that. when I started with Midjourney last year it told me that upscaling isn't available in relax mode.
Do you need to upscale these before uploading them to Canva?
for V5 probably not but any other version then yes, it's always best to upscale
Can you do this with all the settings you mention on the free version of Midjourney?
yes you should be able to

practice and refine your prompts :)
Love your MidJourney work. Question since you use fast mode in MidJourney. How do they bill you when you go over the 15 hours?
they will bill you straight away
Practice in Relax mode and then use fast mode
Do they bill you if you have a subscription?

I agree :)

yes you get commercial use if you pay for midjourney
Did you manage to sell some patterns?
I don't sell patterns, I create books
@@StackinProfit oh sorry English is not my first language, I just saw tittle easy patterns. Sorry🙏
Can I create images and coloring patterns using midjourny and compile them into a book and sell it on Amazon kdp?
only if you have a paid subscription
