That's funny, this could have been anywhere in the world but from the first 2 seconds of footage, I knew exactly where you were. Love that place & can't wait for my 300l to come in!
on that hill climb you could just ride up along the bounce between the edges of the washouts. hill climbs look hard when you're standing on them but once you ride them they're easier than you think. the hard hill climbs are the ones that are covered in big loose rocks
Awesome riding spot! I got my CRF300L back in late December. I love the bike. It's super trick and I love the gearing too. Awesome you are riding with your Dad. My Dad had a Suzuki DR200s too and we enjoyed riding together as well. Subscribed!
@@TheCoolestCourier Awesome. Looking forward to more like this. I just started my "CROW MOTO" motorcycle channel and have one video upload so far, shot with my GoPro Hero 8. I see you are a musician and I also have a music channel. I put a little sample of my music in my video. Check it out if you have the time. Ride on! : )
Well my shoes are reinforced. I do wear a street jacket, gloves but I suppose that's not the most proper gear my dad has on in this video lol. But yes it is quite fun there
Yes mom lol. You're probably right though. I have motorcycle high top reinforced shoes on. I just need to find some shorty Adventure boots where the toe isn't obnoxiously big like all of the ones I tried on. I keep telling my dad he needs at least reinforced shoes like mine. He's literally wearing typical dad New Balance sneakers lol
“What do you wanna take?” “Bloody Jersey Trail, Widow maker canyon, or Dead man’s pass?” Is there another way back? “We can cut down thru to Suicide solution goat trail?” “But it’s kind of technical.” I’ll follow you!
I haven't tried mud with it but I have seen others go through it successfully on RUclips. I've had it for 2 months now and I consider it a very capable bike. Those tires are better than people give them credit for especially when using lower pressures. I have plenty of grip and you can just roll over anything with this bike. It gives you a lot of confidence and nothing really upsets it. I've accidentally hit giant rocks and have fallen into big potholes in the dirt and have not fallen off my bike because it's just so solid and wants to keep tracking forward.
What makes you say that? Also where's all the motorcycle videos on your Channel? I see that you post, but it seems like a lot of scenery with music and not much else.
@@TheCoolestCourier you have no hand guards. That is a dead give away. You have apprehension to give it gas. These are the primary reasons I asked, although their are others. I broke my should last season, not on my bike, and so in my history there is less bikes than usual, but overall there is plenty. I rode mountain bikes for 5 years or so progressively. KTM 250 sx for a year. And my crf230l for over 12 years. Thinking hard this year about a KLX300 or maybe KTM depending on my level of commitment. My other videos = snowboarding as a long time season pass holder who lives 30 miles from a chair lift. Progression takes rapid pace when you go 30+ times a year. Some videos are just out my windows. Some are hiking videos which do include scenery Overall, from my perspective a pretty good balance.
I'd rather replace a clutch lever than by handguards. In some states they are extremely necessary but 99% of all the trails in Southern California are not Woods with branches and Bushes poking out. We don't even really have Woods here. Also I'm just teasing about the dirt bike videos because anyone who has filmed with superview on a GoPro knows that what you're looking at on the other end of the screen like you are is not at all what it looks like in person. On video everything looks like a baby Trail or hill because of the fisheye lens. Wildomar OHV is very steep technical trails. There's not a lot of room to give it gas. Check out my Yamaha xt250 review. I go to a few places where I can hustle it much better. I'm also used to the crf300 now at this point and lowered my tire pressures a little bit so I'll do a video of some faster stuff pretty soon here.
Probably. This video is kind of boring, I'm surprised it got so many views even compared to part one. My review of the bike is much more entertaining. And my review of the Yamaha XT 250 is probably one of my best videos. Now I've just been doing videos on the new XSR900 and that seems to be going well.
The whole reason i have been watching is to learn about how the bike does... You have enough seat time can't you give the strength and weaknesses of the bike ?
That's actually a good video idea. Maybe I'll do that next. I think it's a biggest strength is being a true 50-50 dual sport. It's decent on the road and it's decent off road. I would say my old Yamaha xt250 or a Yamaha wr250r is a better off road bike but they're both not great on the road. I think if it's not your first dual sport ever that people will have a lot of fun with this aggressive motor in the dirt. It has a really good amount of torque once you get off the pavement. But it's size and on off throttle choppiness makes it a challenge to get used to on tight trails. Obviously still Leaps and Bounds better than any adventure bike, even the smallest ones
I started riding in 1969. Current bike is WR250R, last several bikes were XT250, DRZ400s, XT350S, KLX250S, XL250 ... I was thinking of getting the CRF300L , but some videos say the non adjustable suspension is a problem. I was thinking of a Rally, and keeping the WR more for rougher trails..
I heard the rally is just a glorified road bike. Like a mini adventure bike. But yeah that's not a bad idea. After owning so many bikes have you considered KTM?
I rode 2 ktm's , exc450 and a 690... but not really impressed considering the cost. I also had a street legalized Beta XTrainer, and also a Beta RR-S 500. I sold them after 6 months to a year, no more 2 strokes for me, and i did not like the suspension at all . I think I will wait to see what Suzuki and Yamaha does for 2022 .....
Not sure if that's sarcasm, because that's 100% not true. Every video of it on RUclips is people crashing and not making it up in general. I know a pro Enduro Rider could make it up. But not your average rider. If you have a video of you or anyone else making it up the hill I would love to see that.
That's funny, this could have been anywhere in the world but from the first 2 seconds of footage, I knew exactly where you were. Love that place & can't wait for my 300l to come in!
Dude that looks like so much fun. Plus you have the place all to yourselves. Would love to try that on my Rally. Keep up the great vids! 👍
Thanks! I will
Best channel featuring the 300L. Appreciate all your videos and being able to experience it virtually. Mine should be here by the end of the month!
Thanks for watching!
Great video, the 300l looks good. You gave me a lot of confidence in my grom lol! I've been some crazy spots with it!
Awesome!
Cre8tive garage here showing love keep up the hard work we stopping by from Las Vegas 🏎👋
Nice. Half my band just moved to Vegas and I'm visiting this month as well :)

I had to switch to my TV for this! Looks too nice for the phone!
Haha thanks!
Can't believe your dad kept up with you the whole time. The old man can rip.
Haha yeah he's great at tight trails. That's what he did when he was my age

Handguards. Boots. Double Take Enduro mirrors. Keep going!

Riding with you Dad must be wicked. Youre good to you always make sure hes good, Great on you, love the videos jimmy
Yeah I'm glad we can do that together. Thanks.
Good for y'all, getting out there and having a little challenge along with a lot of fun. ✌👍👍
Yep. Super fun. My favorite way to burn calories as well. I'm trying to get a little lean for the summer and riding helps a ton.

Thanks!
That place looks like alot of fun!
It is. I quite enjoyed it
Love riding Wildomar!! 😎👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome trails great video looks fun 👍🤟
Thanks, it was
I wish I had tracks like that!
I'm actually not a fan of the Thai technical stuff like this. I like more open land like Ocatilla Wells
Nice video! Do you have the ABS or non ABS model? I am having a hard time choosing which one to get.
Non abs. I specifically looked for no abs because I'm 90% in the dirt and I would hate to click a button every time I get in the dirt
@@TheCoolestCourier I'm the same! Non ABS for me as well. Thanks for the reply!
Hey where is your rding location?
Omg this looks amazing.. wish we had that here...
Does the front wheel ABS not being able to turn off have negative effects on offroad / downhill gravel rocky trails?
Yes, but you can turn it off if it has abs. Mine has no ABS at all
the DR 200 looks featherweight
It is! So tiny
Can I full on mud with it? And basically do anything a normal dirtbike could do off-road wise?
I haven't tried mud with it but I have seen others go through it successfully on RUclips. I've had it for 2 months now and I consider it a very capable bike. What camera is that? Feels like I'm watching 8K
Haha thanks. It's a GoPro Hero 9. 4k 60 FPS Wide View settings.
I’m still here to support
:D
I'm going to guess you haven't been riding long?
