You mind explaining the currency exchange on how it impacts your gains as a foreign investor cuz im investing in some stock's and in the home nation it's making money but for me in my country, would like to know from your opinion
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.
True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.
In my opinion, it was much easier investing back in the 60s but it’s a lot trickier now, those making consistent profit in these times are professionals reason I’ve been using an advisor for the past 5 years to consistently build my portfolio in preparations for retirement.
I encountered Margaret Johnson Arndt through my wife, and I emailed her. She is guiding me. Since then, she has given me chances to buy and sell the stocks in which I'm interested in. You can hunt her up online if you require care supervision.
Great video Mitch thank you. How do you calculate rounding up shares? Can you please give an example for one I have in my portfolio? I have one that says 2.784995. What is the method to make this exactly 3 shares? Would appreciate learning how to do this. Many thanks.
Thanks! So you just do 1 minus the fraction of a share. E.g 1 - 0.784995 = 0.215005, if you buy this amount of shares you’ll have 3 whole shares. Hope that makes sense!
Hi mate, I thought you could only put cash into 1 S&S ISA? Am I correct to assume you are only depositing cash inside the Trading212 isa and the vanguard isa was opened a previous year ?
I think she trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Germany and after her lectures from Ella I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good.
With her assistance, i was able to diversify my 4k$ portfolio across multiple markets, earning over 9k$ in net profits from high end dividend yielding stocks, ETFs, and bonds in just a few months.
I think that’s an unlikely scenario, but regardless T212 are backed by the FSCS and they also keep client assets segregated from their own funds so in the event of insolvency clients will still have access to their funds.
If you want to sign up to Trading 212, and get 1 FREE share valued up to £100, use the following link: trading212.com/promocodes/MITCH

T212 and a couple of other brokerages have already said they will take HMRC to court if this is brought it to tax the UK shareholders
Hopefully it doesn’t get to that point and HMRC come to some sense!
That rule is from 1998. HMRC have had 25 years to sort this out!
Thanks for keeping us updated on the news Mitch
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Hi Mitch, where can you see ‘recommendation ratings’ (strong buy, buy, hold….)? Many thanks
Think it might be tipranks but not sure
Hey, you can see all the analyst ratings on Yahoo Finance

Worried about retirement after inheriting $2.5 million. Not much hope for the rest of us then 😂
Love the transparency. Rare at the moment on RUclips!
Thanks, I try to keep it real!
Very inspiring video. Can't wait to get my investments going too
Thanks, appreciate it!
Do you think they’ll succeed with taxing us on fractional shares
I personally don't, I've read the tax liability will sit with the broker too but let's see!

Hey, yeah spot on mate, Vanguard is an old account I no longer invest in
Nice one Mitch ......thanks for the insight
Thanks for watching :)
Great update MItch. I have tried rounding up shares. But it wouldn't allow me. Says it can only do 3 decimal places.
Any thoughts
Somebody else said that too, I’m not entirely sure, may be worth reaching out to T212 support in the app to see if they can help
I got the same, mines to 1 decimal place on LLOY
How did you place orders containing more than 3 decimal places? T212 says “quantity decision must be limited to 3 decimal places” for me?
Strange one, it just allowed me to do it…
ye same happens for me too
How are you rounding up the fractional shares into whole shares ?
If you have say 4.24534 shares, you need to do 1-0.24534 which will give you the number to need to round up
What is the difference between ISA and investment?
functionality is the same, but the main difference is the ISA has tax advantages that the invest account doesn’t
In my opinion I’d pay zero attention to analyst ratings. They’re useless…
Are you paying fees twice for VUSA?
What research platform do you use ?
Yahoo Finance
@@MitchShoesmith if this the one that gives you analyst price targets ?
@@michalkalisz1131😂 no
What do you think about tpst
A stock down 99.8% i wouldn’t touch with a barge pole
Awesome job !
Thanks!
Where did you get those screenshots?
Which ones? The analyst ratings?
@@MitchShoesmith Yeah, the recommendation ratings and the analysts price targets
How the hell do you round up the shares? Mine all over the place lol
Just do 1 minus the number after the decimal place and that’s how many you need to buy to round up ☺️
Mate best holiday destination
I think I have a better option with better returns. Anyone ever heard of Larysa Caba?
I think she trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Germany and after her lectures from Ella I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good.
It's amazing that you got to know her. she has been a blessing to me and my family.
I just looked up her name online. she is licensed with credible certificates and has an amazing track record. Thank you for the message.
With her assistance, i was able to diversify my 4k$ portfolio across multiple markets, earning over 9k$ in net profits from high end dividend yielding stocks, ETFs, and bonds in just a few months.
How can I find her?
Just be careful, platforms like this May go pop when legislators act

That will never happen as T212 is backed by the FCA and PRA
@MitchShoesmith is that all of your funds? I'm seeing alot written about a max of £85k?
