i wouldn't say the yarn is ugly, just very... loud. bright and vibrant and colorful. if i were to make a cardi with them.... maybe mosaic granny squares with the base color as the outside/border color? or stripes of the different colors between the base color using something like the feather stitch? stained glass granny squares with the base color as the border and lattice work would probably look great too.

Oh I have an idea for the minis (which are adorbs!) you can make wearables! Bracelets, hair scrunchies or accessories!
I have some of those Red Heart Minis in various colorways, including the Monster one! You could make cute little spooky amigurumis!
The mill ends at least you can do the burn test and if it’s wool you can dye it.

The slime green yarn reminds me of The Grinch. So maybe you can make a Halloween or crazy grinch blanket /sweater. Saving the ugly yarn, it’s such a cool idea tho.

You are lucky with your mill ends. Crystal from Bag-o-day just got 5 packs in in baby pink. I ordered 2 with the hooks and got 10 balls/pk of a raspberry pink yarn. I don’t mind because I love pink. Those ugly yarns are very colorful for your dungeon. But great haul. 🖤

yaaasssss, I love the millends! Last time I got a couple I got 3 bags of super jumbo plushy velvet yarn, I actually just finished making a cat bed for my parents cats with it! I actually am patiently waiting for my current herschners order to come in on Friday, I got a couple more bags of mill ends and a bunch of different colored cotton yarn packs that were on sale! I can't wait to see the ugly sweater!

I have an idea that you can use the furry yarn to make some sort of robe. Like shift a cardigan's shape to be into a robe and I think the best color for this would be the dark purple yarn //eggplant. I don't know why but I got Christmas vibes from it too like the green and red fuzzy yarns. (edit it looks red due to the camera but it's actually pink so sorry about that)
4:18 also maybe you can make a mushroom with the muroon one. It fits well with the white yarn too
Also if you do something rainbow you should make pompoms in the rainbow colors :'D or maybe some sort of dripping effects
Also pink could be used to make a skull and maybe you can combine it with black to make it into an Avril Lavigne kind of vibe in my opinion. Like punk goth is the vibes it gives me
Also using the orange and black maybe you could make a trick or treat basket of some sort :'D.. Ohh what if you made a gothic pumpkin?
Maybe you could make an embroidery with the mini ones too

These are honestly just suggestions and I know you are probably doing something already,, I could probably sketch out something cool but these are just the rough ideas that came to my mind at 1st :'D

It might make things too thick, but I love holding yarn double; a strand of black with a strand of those "ugly" colors, should help turn them into something you may be more inspired by!
