I spent the day kayak fishing Ozello on the Nature Coast of Florida after a cold front pushed in. We targeted redfish and trout, and had a solid day out on the water.

What do you use the see depth around where you are fishing?

@habiby203 if I run into the bottom I know it's shallow 🤣, other than that just eyeballing it. Been considering a fish finder but most of what I fish is very shallow

Where's a good place to launch a kayak in ozello?

@dougrackley4669 there's a few places, I use paddling.com and salt strong app to find launch spots. This one is pretty popular on the north end of ozello

My uncle takes me to a spot off Dixie Bay and the fishing is amazing. You can go out there and catch 20-30 fish easy.
