But after this part of the earth broke away and became the moon, the moon was, indeed, a lot closer to the earth than it is now. PS: The rogue planet which collided with the earth was the planet Theia.
It wouldn't really matter for us in my opinion, one billion years in either direction for us would most likely be the exact same outcome. No earth, no wars, no suffering, no tik tok cancer 🙌 Sounds blissful.
